Wow, I hope not, that would be scary. Denver just gave Champ $15 million guaranteed for signing on the dotted line, I highly doubt they chase Asomugha after that. Champ has some good years left, and has a very manageable contract. Asomugha I'm assuming would want a higher signing bonus close to $20M. Denver can't take on that kind of monster deal having a payroll of $125 million in 2011.

The one thing I do know about Asomugha is that since he didn't out play his 2009 season in 2010, he's free from the Raiders. Normally they could franchise him, but since he had a nice little clause in his contract, he can get out of that hell hole. He may be a Buc soon, they're a good team willing to spend money.

We should all be afraid that Asomugha is going to sign with the Texans.

They're about as good as the Raiders right now, if he does sign there it will show that he's all about the money. I expect him to go to a team that is an actual contender.

With the roster the Texans have, they SHOULD be a contender. Lucky for us and the other AFC South teams, the Texans don't have a clue about finishing a season. They start hot, end cold, always.

If he does, we should absolutely sign Moss back. Asomugha was thrown at only 33 times last year, that's insane that he's that good no one will pass his way. And since we don't throw Moss' way, we should keep Asomugha busy following Moss around. That way, we can have clear passing lanes for the other WR's we do use. #Justathought

That's why I'm not worried, Houston is a joke. Schaub and AJ can lead the league in passing and receiving but it means nothing when they can't make the playoffs.

Asomugha doesn't follow the other team's #1 WR, he typically plays on one side of the field only. Besides, no NFL team is dumb enough to think that Moss needs to be covered by their top CB.

He's the best man to man defender to have ever lived. It'd be dumb not to have him locked in on the best WR.

If they fix what they screwed up on the interior OL so CJ2K gets some good holes to run through AND doesn't spend more time going East and West instead of North and South, I think you can nullify Asomugha. With the Texans going through a COMPLETE defensive overhaul from a 43 to a 34 defense, alot of their players are going to have to have a full season to learn whats going on. What defense does Oakland run? I don't think it was a 34 was it? I was just wondering if Asomugah has any experience in a 34.
