Like you said not that it matters. It was crazy seeing a tall QB like Vince who could run so fast though. 2 totally different running styles also, Vince was a quick finesse type runner while Locker was more of an Eric Crouch speedy hard nosed runner who welcomed the contact.

I think Gradkowski would want to start and try to prove that he can be 'the guy' more then he would want to teach/mentor Jake.

I wonder if Doc B has enough playing experience for them to consider him a QB mentor candidate.
    He's just barely played/accumulated a 2 season's worth of stats.

And of course, there's the consideration to make that the standard defense vs Tennessee (as of last season) is 8 in the box with one to two players assigned to spy on chris Johnson.

Locker forcing a reconsideration on who/how teams should play their spy might not be that terrible

Vinces rookie year he was a magician at directing blocks and making big plays.

Then he just stopped running with it.

I think that had a lot to do with his overall game weakening after his rookie year. I'm sure someone told him that he could get hurt pretty real bad if he keeps running and putting his body out there like that. So he tries to be a pocket passer and not run so much but it defeats the whole purpose of the threat of VY which was his mobility and elusiveness. He held back and just couldn't deal with the pressure. Pure point blank he buckled and by the time he was able to put it all together it was too late. It's too bad because he really was an exciting player to watch.

He put it all together in '09. That's when he started putting up respectable numbers and taking control of the offense as a pocket passer. It was his 3rd season. The season it was projected that he would put it all together. He was projected as a 3 year project.

He didn't get the boot because of his play. It was the Washington incident that ended his career in TN.

I wouldn't mind Jake Delhomme; I don't know his contract status though.

My #1 is def Matt Hasselbeck.
