    Yeah, I'd say a great deal of the film's power lies in the ending. You kinda-sorta have to view the entire film to really have a good opinion of it. I know a few people who loved the first 95% of the film, then the ending came, and they just f'ing hated it. I also know a person or two who weren't blown away until the plan comes together.

    Crazy film. I love it, but definitely nutty in terms of the implications of the plot.

    Problem is, the beginning is so hard to watch. I'm not sure if I could make it through it.

    I'll try it again some time when there's no company watching with me. But we were all like "uuhhh... when does this get interesting rather than just weird?"

    What part was so particularly difficult to watch? The octopus eating? Because even that has a purpose.

    Nothing in particular, just the whole first 30-40 minutes. It was like watching a magic show with no magic.

    Not to mention an unforgettable performance by the lead role in the final act, which really helped sell the twist.

    And the way they revealed the secret was brilliant.
