Don't get me wrong. I'm still pissed that we let Blunt go. We could have done a lot with him, but he could never replace CJ. CJ is one the best blocking RB's in the league. In his three seasons here, I've yet to see him blow an assignment or miss a blitz and he blocks extremely well. The only back that I can think of that does as well as CJ is MJD. Blunt was as bad as Henry in this respect, and I have to believe that's why he's gone. I still believe we should have kept him, but he's definitely not a guy you want on passing plays.

 

We all thought CJ was a scatback before was taking snaps. He quickly dashed that perception. It's rare that a team drafts a guy perceived as a track star who wants to play football, and he ends up being a real football player with track speed, but that's what happened with CJ. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously if you still call him a scatback after what he's accomplished?

 

Can you read? I said when C.J. was healthy He was caught from behind a lot last year. That's exactly why your argument that he wasn't hurt is ridiculous. you could do yourself a favor and stop discussing C.J. You really aren't helping your credibility.

Getting a lot of carries doesn't make him not a scat-back.

He's a scat back. Just an every down scat-back. A player that shouldn't play every down, but has been under idiot coaching.

Let me make it clear that I'm a fan of CJ. He's probably my 2nd favorite player on the team. I'm just not going to get on my knees and bow to him or pretend he's something he's not.
I'm only hating on him so much to contrast with the unwarranted amounts of praise he gets.

You just don't know wtf you are talking about. Period.

He isn't a scat back and you saying he is 100000 times does not make it true.

Just because someone isn't 6 ft 220 lbs or can run really fast doesn't make them a scat back.

He isn't Michael Bennett, Darren Sproles, Trung Candidate, etc. He is Chris Johnson and he is a great RB.

Criticism is fine and I have no problem with real criticism or deserved criticism. But what you are doing is making up crap to fit your losing argument.

Just because someone doesn't run like Earl Campbell and is fast doesn't mean they are a scat back.

That is a bull term for people who can't provide real analysis anyway.
