Why not David Mims? I trust Munchak on this one, but Mims has great film, very athletic.

He was projected round 6 with a high of round 4 on nfldraftscout, so I guess its a solid pick.

    Overview
Undersized and unheralded out of high school, Stingily added 65 pounds during two years at Joliet Junior College while maintaining exceptional athleticism that now has NFL scouts taking notice. With the importance of the tackle position growing every time a team's starting quarterback loses a season to injury, NFL teams will fall over each other to take a chance on a player like Stingily.

After earning honors as high school defensive end in the southern Chicago metro area, Stingily moved to offensive line at Joliet, garnering all-conference accolades as a sophomore. He redshirted the 2008 season at Louisville, and then started 11 games at left tackle as a junior before earning second-team All-Big East honors by starting 12 contests in 2010.

Though still learning the fine points of the tackle position, Stingily owns the length, footwork and just a bit of attitude that offensive line coaches love to see on the edge. Don't be surprised if his name is called earlier on the third day of the draft than some expect.

    Analysis
Positives: Excellent size, length and athleticism for the left tackle spot. Smooth kick-slide, also has wide base and natural bend for pass protection. Keeps leverage, moves his feet while engaged. Protects inside lane with length and balance. Latches onto defenders and does not let go. Owns feet, strength to block down and pick up outside twist. Flashes some nastiness, willing to punch multiple times to keep rusher at bay. Good quickness out of three-point stance, gets hands onto target and takes them out of the play with leverage and churning legs. Moves to second level well, negates and dominates linebackers.

Negatives: Raw in pass protection techniques, allows defenders too far into his body instead of extending his long arms. Loses balance at times coming out of three-point stance. Tries to punch instead of getting position to seal inside on runs away from him. Overextends on initial punch in pass pro, but usually recovers quickly. Misses targets in space when failing to keep athletic position. Must learn to seal edge on runs to his side. Loses snap count on occasion.

Looks like another high character guy for the Titans
with Matthews and Munch there is no need to take big time name lineman when you can develope almost anyone to play o-line

    SI likes him. Projects 4-5.

"Underrated blind side pass protector with terrific size and athleticism. Fluid athlete who moves well and shows the ability to slide out off the edge in pass protection. Makes good use of angles, easily adjusts, and anchors at the point of attack. Keeps his feet moving, stays square, and controls defenders once engaged in a block. Consistently plays with leverage, keeps his head on a swivel, and works until the whistle blows."

Its OK guys, HeadOnASwivel knows how to scout/draft O-line prospects better than Munchak and Matthews. This guy can already be chalked up as a bust.
