    I think he'll either 1) get injured or 2) mental/emotional breakdown.

It'll be his last good chance as a starter. He may catch on as a backup somewhere.

    Why do I think this?

History and Vince's comments a few months ago that he didn't have to earn a starting QB spot with another team.

It's really up to him. If he does a some more maturing and gets seriously dedicated to studying the game and his playbook, he could be truly great. But considering he's going on year 6 in the NFL and it hasn't happened yet, I wouldn't hold my breath.

The talent is there. It's the dedication he's lacking. You can be an elite college QB on talent alone... not so in the pros. I wish him all the best in the future though and will be rooting for him (unless he's playing the Titans or does something really stupid).

I replied to this in the VY thread in an attempt to not derail this one with VY discussion.

I thought Chuck Cecil would suck as a DC
I thought Norm Chow would be a bad OC
I thought VY would never fall into place while here
I knew Fisher would be gone this year or the next
I knew Pacman was a goner long before he was even a Titan

    I also thought:

Lendale White was the steal of the draft
    Chris Johnson couldn't run
Mike Reinfeldt was a terrible decision (I think there's sufficient evidence that suggests he's a good GM).
Nate Washington was going to give our offense a huge boost
Kerry Collins would have a great season in 2009, even better than the one before it

Oh me too. I remember getting into a heated debate with one of my good friends (a Pats fan) when we signed Nate Washington. I said Nate would transition into a very good starting caliber WR. I believed he just needed a chance to shine since he was stuck behind Ward and Holmes in Pittsburgh. My friend, correctly, said that he was nothing more than a very good slot receiver and would never be an above-average starter. He still gives me grief about that one. :sad2:

I was VERY happy we drafted Lendale, he was my ideal 2nd round pick.

I was angry we drafted Chris Johnson, nothing to do with the player but with the fact we drafted RBs in the 2nd round prior two drafts. I boo'd on draft day when CJ was selected.

I also initially was very pro Nate Washington until my friend convinced me he was just another #3 receiver and that's all we had. A lot of #3s. (at the time, Britt could be a typical diva #2 or 1 in our case)
