He's the youngest player in the league, with money he has never had. I'm really not surprised by his behavior, and while I don't encourage him, cutting him isn't the right move, I still imagine that he'll mature, and if he does, and we just give up on him, we'll be kicking ourselves.

    He deserves jail time

he just put several lives in danger outside of his own.

not to mention if he would have just pulled over, all he would have gotten was a ticket at most. probably could have talked his way out of it too. britt and iverson should go hang out or something.

Ok, maybe you could enlighten me, and point out which players deserve a 1st round pick to you, and why Britt is not there.

Has he not been talked by fans and media as one of most promising wide-receivers of the future?

Has he not put the numbers as the titans best receiver on the last 2 seasons, even with all the QB changes?

Has he not produce since he was drafted?

He is... only 22 years old!

I assume that his off the field issues are the reason why you say that he not worth a 1st, but some of you would jump at Fairley with titans 8 selection despite off his "character issues".

For pete's sake man he was just arrested and might do some real jail time. That will also mean a suspension.

Why do you want to trade him? The reason you want to trade him is the reason you won't get a first rd pick for him. Would you give a 1st rd pick for him if you were another team?

He has produced but he isn't elite. The Steelers basically gave away a WR who was a super bowl mvp. Britt has not even come close to a 1000 yards yet.

Kenny Britt has really let down the fans here, i was hoping he was staying in shape and learning more about Football. I knew with Fisher gone and this Lock Out that Britt would go to the dump... damnit, now we have another need in the draft. time to let D Williams and Mariani step up at WR.

I do agree that Julio Jones is back in play now. Nobody can use the line that we don't need another WR the way this guy is going.

FYI Santonio Holmes averaged over 900 yards a season in his 4 year career with the Steelers. He was just super bowl MVP and coming off his best year with 79 catches for over 1200 yards. Safe to say his on field accomplishments beyond those of Britt's.

What Homes did was worse than Britt, domestic violence, as well as many smaller things so the Steelers fed up with him traded him to the Jets for a 5th rd pick despite the fact that the major charges against him were dropped.
