No they don't need a QB, but they really, didn't need a running back last year, and yet they went with CJ.

if we went receiver with the 8th pick i woujldnt mind it at all as the only other player that will be there from that is jj and who really knows what bud will do i would like to see us trade back and get more draft picks in reality but i know your just throwing this out there

if we have the chance to draft aj--you simply dont pass it up at all and we have 2 dominate outside threats that open up the field and take a beating off cj and i think if we take a wr with the 8th overall pick then we will start next season with rusty as our qb and he shown he is determined to get better so im okay with that

pick up stanzi in the 3rd or someone later in the draft as a competable backup and a vet like either collins since he knows the system well old system or bulger to mentor both of them

I hope to god we would not have Rusty starting next season. He was Dinger's project and since dinger is no longer I hope Rusty becomes the irrelevant practice squad player.

I wouldnt' mind going receiver but not in the 1st. There are some guys that could be there in the mid rounds that could help. Someone like Denarius Moore from UT, Randal Cobb fromy KY, or Leonard Hankerson from Miami would be great.

I agree with you that he shouldn't be a starter. But the kid still has potential, no reason to ban him to the ps.

No way. Even if the best player on the board is a WR, our needs at QB C G DT LB DB (SS and CB) trump any thought of drafting a WR. We really need to go front 7 defense or QB with our first pick, anything else is a waste

You're saying you wouldn't want Von Miller or Patrick Peterson? :suspect:

Obviously we could use a Center and QB before we could use another WR we won't throw the ball to, but whats wrong with us drafting A.J. or Julio and lighting the score board up? Our defense can suck and give up 20+ points, which would be fine if we're scoring 35 because of two great WR's.

I like the way you think.

But seriously, I think if those 7 main players are off the board, we should consider AJ Green. But only if we can't trade back, which I'm sure we could. Theres got to be some team willing to trade up for AJ Green, because he's not going to make it past the Redskins @ 10. Maybe a team like the Rams would trade up for AJ? Or would they just wait for Julio? Who knows.

    Regardless... Britt + CJ + Green + ____ @ QB = Deadly Offense
