I just don't see the Panthers going QB #1. I think they should still give Clausen another year. Yes, he sucked last year.. but he was a rookie. Not saying that's a good excuse; but he could still develop. I'd like to see what he could do going into the year as a starter and having an entire off-season under his belt (if this stupid lockout gets settled).

Yeah, you may be right, no argument there.

Hopefully the scouts looking at these guys, as well as the coaches who are talking to the scouts, know what they are doing. I am sure they are more qualified to make this call than I am.

I am basing my opinion only on what I saw last season, during the Senior Bowl, and during the combine/pro days...and I would not make the reach. However, I am not an NFL scout or coach.

Kiper has the Bills taking Gabbert and the Bengals taking Newton 4th. I don't know if he has any more info on this than us but Marvin Lewis was at Newton's pro day and may have seemed impressed.

It makes sense. Kiper also has both Dts going before us as well as Peterson and Green so we basically have our pick of DEs.

Duece's strident bashing of Gabbert aside we have seen some #1 picks not work out too well. Smith and Carr have not done anything and Stafford can't seem to stay healthy. Even Palmer has had his mediocre run. Everybody seems to be on bradford's nuts but i think the jury is still out on him. It's not automatic he will just keep getting better.

Dude Bradford is the man. For have no true WRs and an average OL he put up impressive numbers. 3512 yards, 60 comp%, 18 TDs, 15 INT... that's a great rookie year for any QB. Now being a couple hours away from St. Louis I see alot of Rams games, alot of my friends are Ram fans. Bradford could of atleast had another 7 TDs atleast, but didn't because of dropped passes. I remember one game where Danario Alexander could of had two 50+ yard TDs but dropped them.

Watch out for Bradford this year, especially if they can land a legit WR for him (Julio Jones).

If anything, the system he plays with in Mizzou would make him look BETTER than he should be in the pros.

Which is really revealing of just how bad he is/will be.

His stats sucked. His film sucks. His record sucks.

What am I not seeing? Does he have this godly swag about him that keeps him from sucking?

As for everything else, just like Chris Henry. Except this time, we would be wasting a first round pick instead of a second.

Missouri won 10 games this year which is very good for them so i would not call his record bad.

His numbers didn't suck either he just didn't have the kind of numbers you might expect him to have. His numbers were better than Locker's that's for sure.

Which QB had the best stats and the best record? If those 2 things really matter that much than Newton has to be the top QB in this draft.

Duece doesn't care about those numbers either.
