    well this will be a broken promise... considering he has to play the bangels in cincy....
    unless he gets injured or played for an NFC team that just played the AFC south and plans to retire before they play them again...

    ...because it looks like he means it. He generally don't talk, he isn't creating a fuss, he put his house on the market, and he had all his personal crap shipped out west from Cincy.

    Word is that Palmer decided he had had enough after idiot fans had desecrated his home. He does not seek the spotlight nor does he put his face before others. Doesn't surprise me you wouldn't know the difference between that and a diva..

    Gabbert to the Bengals seems more and more likely.

    As for Palmer, I'd take him... for super cheap. I'm talking like 4th round cheap, if that. He's already 31, and has more INTs in the two years than his age... Yes, he almost threw for 3,000 yards and the Bengals OL is horrible. Palmer would be a decent fill-in role at QB for the next 2 years, and then he'll be done. Maybe while our rookie QB develops?

    Significant to me that he still wants out of there so bad when almost all the mocks have the Bengals taking AJ Green.

    He just doesn't believe that scenario is healthy for his career. I agree with him.

    Palmer would love it here since the OC has the same last name. :suspect:


    Seriously i think he could work out here and just wants to be part of a winning program.
