i lol'd. (read the bolded like a paragraph into cj's post.. and was like naw... he aint really going there againnnnn... but he did.....)

I feel like this will be a good hiring.. Already leading to good things w/ Bruce coming back to coach. This is tough to say after 6-10 but I'm excited to see what our team can do with all of the Vince drama gone, as well as the drama surrounding Fisher.. I hope that the defense comes back with the chip on their shoulder that they had to begin this season as well. I guess we shall see.

Drafting Vince Young was not the mistake, getting rid of Volek was as it forced VY to start his career prematurely.

I do understand if some fans didn't want Fisher gone since he was the team's first head coach for a lot of people here. And for you former Oiler fans, y'all grew up watching him on the sidelines. But Fisher was a simple mind and so are his followers as they're scared of changes and rather choose certain mediocrity over the slightest uncertainty that can pay off in a big way. Fisher lived and died by certainty...even if that means consistent mediocre results and refused to take the slightest gamble when needed, that's how he coached. Hence why he rather plays Collins, Scaife, Gage over VY, Cook, Moss. With his philosophy, I wouldn't be surprised if he'd keep Polamalu on the bench. When you don't have a great defense, you use the weapons you do have on offense.

You could just see the excitement on Fisher's face when we had nothing to play for late in the season and he started going for it on 4th, he seriously looked like a 15 year old boy seeing a naked girl for the first time.

As for Dinger, yeah he's been dealt a s*** hand and that sucks to say the least, but it's still business and he doesn't get my pity vote, sorry if I sound like a d*** on that one, but it's not like he's accomplished anything here to deserve a monument. He needed to go with Fisher as "great" minds think alike. Regardless, I still praise him for staying strong, coming to work in his condition and hope the best for his health and career.

Well all you gotta do is read my posting history to know that aint true.

But I'm not surprised you would make things up, after all you are the master at spinning every subject into VY and every criticism into a conspiracy.

Nope. There is never a circumstance where a player should behave that way immediately following a game.

Jeff Fisher should have been fired and replaced after the 2005 season.

You've never seen a player and a coach get in an argument before? Football is an emotional game. Sh*t happens.

There's gonna be fights in practice, there's gonna be fights in games, there's gonna be arguments and disagreements. That's part of the sport. Fisher shouldn't have let the media into the locker room point blank.

This isn't your white collar profession your talking about I'm sorry...different profession.

Wow. I'm practically speechless at this.

I understand this is hard for you to comprehend, but take a real deep breath and actually THINK about this for a moment...

NFL professionals should not be cussing out the Head Coach IN FRONT of teammates and front office executives IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING a tough loss particularly while there was half a season remaining.

There are times and places where Vince could have appropriately either cussed Fisher and told him what he thought to his face, or orchestrated his removal from behind the scenes.

Having a temper tantrum worse than ANY high school athlete I was ever around is NOT GOOD, it's not professional, and it did not help the Titans in any way for the rest of 2010 season.

We aren't talking about practice and we aren't talking about fights between players during a game, and we aren't talking about an argument with a coach during the game.

We are talking about a player that told the coach "he was quitting on him" and then walked out on the coaches, executives, and teammates while the coach was addressing the team post game. I assume Fisher was trying to be positive about the loss AND (more importantly) getting the team info they needed for the following week.

I realize I need to let this go because you will make whatever excuse in your mind to justify that Vince did no wrong.

It's hard for me to accept that you, or anyone, are so far gone from seeing the reality of the situation that this behavior can't be tolerated by professional adult athletes.

    1) You don't know what happened in the locker room. There were no cameras and no press. All you know is some players supported Vince, some coaches left the team, Vince Young was no longer the starter regardless of the injury, and that the locker room was divided.
