    So...

This thread stays alive with the VY haters.

    So...

Our best shot at a Super Bowl next year is with Vince Young. Any better options anyone?

I can't hate on CJtheBeast for standing behind what he believes, but you guys can't be that dense.. I'm not saying you are stupid, but by feeding into the VY love/hate this thread will grow to 300 pages. Just get off the guys back for wanting what he wants.

It's simple quid pro quo at this point.. But only CJ can end the nonsense - by not bringing people into it by name..

Yea maybe, but really, Cruds you appear to be a fairly smart guy, you know by responding it won't ever end... I'll give credit to which ever one of you gives it a rest. Somebody's got to be the bigger man on this. You guys are like kids, trying to get the last word in.

    I just ignore them...

    So...

Vince Young still gives us the best shot at winning a championship NEXT year right?

He's better than Kolb, Orton, and Volek right?

No. Vince Young is no longer a part of this team. He cannot help them win a super bowl.

Our best chance at a Superbowl is if we manage to get the biggest free agent out there, Peyton Manning. The probability of getting him is just as miniscule as our probability of keeping VY and expecting him to have an epiphany and turning himself into an elite QB.

So I guess the answer is Yes.

Vince Young is the best option at QB next year to bring us a championship. There's no other better options.

Either he's with us, or he's tearing it up in another uniform. TBC...

Manning can't get it done. He is a choker. He effectively won his SuperBowl by beating the Patriots in '06. Manning shined that game, and that's all he's done in the playoffs since then, or ever. Dominic Rhodes was the real MVP of the SB vs. the Bears. The NFC was weak, and other than Urlacher and Hester, they didn't belong there.

Manning is a regular season hero, and if he hadn't gotten that one SB, he would be known as a complete choker. How many times have they gotten a top seed just to blow it??? They're ALWAYS in the playoffs, at least 10 seasons since he's been there. He better have one at least one SB. The Colts under Manning consistently don't live up to hype in the playoffs. If he wins 1/10 or less with Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Clark, Manning, A bit of Faulk, Freeney, Sanders in his prime, and others, there's no reason to believe he'd do any better here with our "talent" in the cold outdoors of LP field in January, with signs of possible slipping in his abilities.

If we could get Manning, I'd be all for it, but he does not remotely guarantee a Super Bowl.
