    Hot Topic?

It's more like: Much of the nation wants the look of Ferraris while the old farts still prefer the looks of a 78 Buick.

I hate football traditionalists. They're the same old people that sit at games and have you ejected for standing on 3rd down.

NFL players are in their 20s on most occasions. They don't want country music playing on the PA System... and they probably don't want to wear the uniform equivalent of khakis and polo.

It's kind of sad to know that uniforms in the 40s too more chances than the ones today... yet, Oregon is blasted for not being traditional. Uhhh...

    True, the white is dull.
Sure, everyone notices the Texans in the preseason. They're the most hyped team every year. For no reason whatsoever.

Hey, back in my day we played for the love of the game. We didn't go to clubs or parties, we spent our Friday nights watching film. And Vince Young, you're not ready to "ball", you should be ready to play quarterback for the National Football League, not "ball". Make it rain? What kind of perverted crap...what does that even mean?! Take it from Roger Staubach, true American hero, any chances of us signing him?

Punk kids these days listen to that hippity hop too much. Lady what? You call that music, the only true singer to ever walk this earth was Sinatra.

Uh... you just quoted Nike for something I'm pretty sure no one at the company said. Please provide a source if I am wrong.

I know how Nike works. I know how the NFL works. More importantly, I know how sports uniform re-designs work. It's something I have been actively following for a decade now.

Uniforms in the NFL are definitely not about to "go crazy." As I said before, Nike will not be in charge of designing teams' uniforms in the NFL. Nike will simply manufacture the uniforms. Teams hire independent design firms to design their uniforms. Most teams will simply choose not to change anything. The NFL is very serious about maintaining brands. Additionally, the NFL has very strict rules about how frequently you can change your uniform and the amount of time in advance that you must notify the league of your plans.

If you don't believe me about any of this, ask ColeJ. He also knows what he's talking about, as he's been active on the CCSLC as long as I have.

Regarding changing the color of the Titans helmet, navy blue should not be an option. There are enough teams in the league with navy blue helmets (Texans, Rams, Broncos, Bears, Giants and even the Texans, a team in the AFC South).

Light blue is the way to go. It would be a unique color in the league (no team has a light blue helmet) and it would look awesome.

Ferraris? Ha, maybe Ali G's Ferrari..
I personally hate the Browns/Pack look but those teams aren't going to switch their look to something rivaling an ugly pair of modern hip hop sneakers..
Plain ol Chucks sell more today than ever so you can't say there isn't a demand for the traditional look as well..
I don't think they play the Country music for the players. As much as I hate Pop Country good luck changing that in Nashville.
Nobody said Oregon can't wear super-hero outfits if they want - but just because you like it doesn't mean it's the law that everyone else does..

The Giants have NO navy blue anywhere.

I'd call this a royal blue

But I'd agree on staying away from the navy, it's too common. We should want to stand apart from everyone else, even if navy blue is a cool color.
