They have to, right? It's a dream situation for a new head coach. He'll get to choose his quarterback.

I imagine all the talk of drafting defense will disappear now that Fisher is gone. The only scenario where the Titans don't take a QB at 8 is if the scouts hate every guy (and even then, I bet the Titans trade back and still take a QB later in round 1).

No, they won't. Not unless there is one worth taking. Cam Newton, Ryan Mallett, welcome back into the mix.

I agree...I'm hoping for Brian Schottenheimer and Locker..Schotty has done a great job with his development of Sanchez.

Just say no to both.....I'd rather wait until next year and have a shot at Luck, Barkley or Jones, assuming they all come out, but if I had to bet, I'd say Gabbert or Locker will be our pick at #8.

I'm just glad we won't be seeing KC in there next year (since his BFF is gone), or will we.

Locker couldn't throw an accurate pass in senior bowl workouts. No damn way!

I bet VY comes back and we can get Julio Jones with our first pick.

It has already been reported by Shefter that this does not change anything about VY, he is gone. I watched Locker today, and he did not look bad (note that it was without pads). Mayock said scouts were very far apart on his evaluation, some saw Alex Smith, some saw John Elway. The game Saturday will be a big factor in where he gets drafted. I agree 100% that right now he is not worth the #8 pick. Gabbert on the other hand is moving up boards fast, and a few mocks already had him as our pick before this news.

Wow, really? You want VY back, and another first round WR? Schefter says VY won't be back anyway.

God no. We're getting that damn #1 pick in 2012. Get Luck then. No use getting a QB in the draft this year.

Get a veteran QB... McNabb, Palmer, Hasselbeck, etc. and draft Luck in 2012 at ALL costs.

I'd be fine with getting Luck at all costs, but if we do that, why not just play Rusty Smith or sign Kerry Collins and use the money that you would spend on McNabb or Palmer to build the D?
