With the exception of giving away 30 million dollars to your friends, every one of these other things can be done with 50 million and still have plenty to live off of.

I think it is a little far-fetched to expect a 21 year old kid to leave school for the money when the only things you've thought of so far he could do with the extra money are things that wouldn't even be for him, like starting businesses to give other people jobs.

Maybe I should've asked what a 21 year old could do with 80 million that he can't do with 50 million.

I can't believe I'm having to explain the difference in what someone could do with 80 million compared to 50 million. This forum amazes me.

What difference does that make? We've already established there is more to life than money.

Starting a business which employees people also HELPS people, those families, etc... it's capitalism at its best. If you started a business that employed hundreds of people, able to pay them which helps provide for them family, and you wouldn't feel GOOD about that?

SAVE AN EXTRA 30 MILLION DOLLARS. Spend the 50!

Think about this... He could buy his parents a 10 million home with all the amenities and some extra cash to help pay the maintenance and bills, as well two 10 million dollar homes for himself (with everything else cars, awesome furniture, etc)... and still have 30 million in the bank!!!

30 million dollars earning 3.5% annually over 40 years would be worth 118 million.

Do you want me to list all the possible purchases or career options that money would allow Luck to pursue after his football career is over?

Wow man, you really can't follow 1 page of a thread.

I'm listing options for spending an extra 30 million dollars since you and others have zero imagination and seem clueless with how expensive some things can be.

I can follow one page of a thread it's just your idiotic reasoning that can't process the simple fact that there are MANY reasons why Luck stayed in school that is seeming to struggle.
It's been mentioned ad nauseam, but not only are you unwilling to accept it, you just seem stuck on the notion that money rules his life.

Like I said, you are truly special.

Gunny, wplatham asked what Andrew Luck could buy at 21 with an extra 30 million dollars. i post a link to homes that are worth between 30-60 million dollars.

And somehow you find that not relevant?

Obviously you can't follow a thread.

Really, you think putting in an extreme housing prices is actually relevant?
wplatham was making a point that with 50 million he isn't missing out on anything he can get with 80 million. Luck can still buy a damn good house with 50 million.

Of course with your exceptional money making skills, if he bought a 60 million dollar house he'd only have 20 million to invest and apparently that's just not good enough according to you.

You may as well have put in buying a country for all the relevance that would have made.
