He'll be on a team just as bad or worse than the Panthers next year.

He loses 30 million, he'll still get 10 million. He's smart, he probably won't waste it away and if something happens during football he has the brains to do something outside of it.

I'm not going to criticise the kid for continuing his education and preparing himself outside of football.

Only if the concussions don't get to him. It's crazy what hits can do to you. Oh, I forgot, it's illegal to hit QBs now.
    He'll be fine.

There is no justifying this decision... it is absolute lunacy. The guy is walking away from what is more or less $55-60 million guaranteed. Many athletes have gone back and got their degree during their career... Emmit Smith, Vince Young, Michael Jordan, etc. This is a recession; it's borderline offensive to the common man seeing this schmuck just casually turning down the opportunity to bank $55,000,000 in the next 6 years, plus the possibility of more with incentives. I hope he rips his ACL off of his leg this year, teach him a little lesson about humility. He can enjoy that nice 550K architect salary and wonder 'what if'?

Ouch. Key word, Andrew Luck is leaving that money on the table. You shouldn't care one bit that he's walking away from that money right now. I don't. But I do respect and admire the man for choosing to do so on his own. I'm sure Luck has just as many people in his ear telling him to go pro so I give it up to him for doing what he feels is best for him.

Yeah that must be it... considering the two universities I attended were both named #1 party school at the time I attended them. :)

    The decision is unjustifiable.

The Tennessee Titans... under a coach not named Jeff Fisher.

If utilized correctly, Luck, CJ, Britt, Cook, etc could make up THE MOST explosive offense in the NFL.
