Really? At first I thought you were talking about Cam with the 1 look then tuck and run, because that is typically his MO. Locker's checking down difficulties are mostly due to his O-line imploding in on him. That front line was as water-tight as a wiffle ball. The fact that most of his receivers dropped more passes than they caught doesn't help either. Many of those "force-ins" bounced off receivers chests or blew through their hands. When his line gives him time, he can be very accurate. His mobility is just one of his talents, not the only one... otherwise they would have called more designed run plays for him. Mallet's mobility is almost non-existant. His character is a concern also, something Locker has never had questioned. Locker brings more tools to work with... without the character concerns.

I agree with this...I actually had Mallett above Locker though until I read about his character concerns. Everything I read says this guy is Ryan Leaf part II. We want no part of that. As much as I don't want a QB at #8 overall, the only one the Titans should consider is Locker. He played in a pro style offense, can read Ds, go through his progressions, is mobile enough to extend plays and move the chains with his feet, can make all the throws, and has zero character concerns. If Locker has a good showing at the Senior Bowl it would not shock me for him to be off the board before we pick.

Pat Devlin might just be the best QB in this class now that Luck is gone. I'm not saying he should or will go the highest, but that kid is pretty impressive. Comes from the same system as flacco and is a big strong accurate thrower. He's listed on wikipedia at 6'4 222 lbs.

Love Devlin...I'd take him in round 2 before I'd use a first round pick on any QB in this draft.

I like what I see above. He seems to move through his progressions well, and on several of those passes he puts the ball just where it needs to be to allow his receivers to make the play in strong coverage. May only concern with that is his willingness to put it into such tight coverage. How strong was his receiving core? Were they the reason he was able to do that? Also, since this video was essentially a highlight reel, I would like to see some of his less successful samples to see what happens when his receivers don't "make" the catch. Good film though.
