I hope so. Maybe someone will take Gabbert too.

I think I'll pass. Strong arm, pretty accurate but he's a statue and doesn't seem to be clutch. I'm thinking he's Kerry Collins II. Not bad but not great.

Mallett is the most NFL ready QB in this draft. I have wanted him in Nashville for a long time. The problem is his off the field stuff. The attitude, rumored drug abuse, etc, have to be a major concern. Usually with this stuff where there is smoke there's fire. I have heard and read scouts and analyst compare him to Ryan Leaf. That is enough for me to cross him off the list. Now, if we investigate them and find out they're untrue, then that will change things. The rule in the draft with off the field issues is you believe them until they are proven otherwise.

I think he could be great, but I also think he could be Ryan Leaf II.

If the Titans want Mallett, they will have to move up to get him.

Remember last year's draft? We were going to take Nicks at WR, but were burned by the Giants because we sat still at our pick. Fortunately, Britt turned out to be good.

Mallett is a true stud, but if the Titans do what "they do best" and sit still, again we will be burned by San Fran...they will grab Mallett up. ...he may possibly go to the Cardinals before SF gets their chance.

I would just like to see them be proactive and "go get him". He is worth more than us settling for a free agent.

The character concerns that are spreading about Mallett are going to hurt his draft stock. Teams are less and less likely to reach for a players with character concerns, especially a QB. If San Fran wants him, they can have him. But if the concerns are true Harbaugh will want no part of him.

Reports are not true. People just like to spread things. Mallett would be great for this franchise.

If they are not then I would agree, but usually in cases like this where there is smoke there is fire. He has been my favorite QB in this draft all season (outside of Luck of course), but the character concerns bring up some serious red flags that the franchise will have to look into.

Everyone keeps saying that SF will take Mallett. I just don't see it. They'll be running the West Coast over there, and Mallett is definitely not the QB for that. He has poor feet and poor short accuracy. Timing is not his best trait. Harbaugh will be more likely to take someone who fits his system. IMO, I think he'll trade for Kolb.
