Good call. You know what bugs me the most, all the morons that keep pointing out his 30-17 record or whatever it is. How many of those games did he actually win for us? By win I mean it was all on VY to come from behind and win? In 5 years I can think of 2 games that he did most of the heavy lifting in a come from behind win... The Giants where he avoided the sack and the Cards last year that's it. You're so right, with a new coaching staff it's right back to square one trying to learn a new system. I think all of us can concur... VY isn't exactly a quick learner.

Well, I see your your point, but you gotta admit that the Cardinals comeback was pretty cool.

Also the game vs the Texans where he had a run of 40 yards to seal it..or i was i dreaming? he's had a number of them it's not like theres only been 1 or 2. Like most logical people are pointing out Bud isn't letting go of Vince plus he is probably our best chance of winning anything next year. It won't hurt anything to let him play the season because he will either way and there's no better options at QB that will be missed if VY gets to start next year...unless you guys are just hoping for Kerry to come back so we can go 2-14 and get a QB in the 2012 draft.

That was pretty cool. What made it even cooler was the surprise I got when there was not much crying here about how Vince almost lost the drive with that bad pass that got popped up in the air with Public Enemy #1 being lucky enough to catch it.

I know it's not my money, but I can't see how we can play $14 million dollars to VY. Why can't we spend that elsewhere, like the DL? Also, keeping VY will turn off some potential head coaching candidates, especially the elite ones. You think Gruden, with his complicated playbook, will want to coach VY?

What other QB's could we play next year and actually have a chance at making the playoffs? Unless we just go into rebuild mode and get a new qb and fix the o-line and defense problems for a few years from now..but spending the money on other problems still leave us at a problem at QB worse than VY that will very likely leave us out of the playoffs imo so it's all just for nothing. The coaching & qb situation I have no idea about though.

That doesn't matter. His/her point is that VY should be off the roster.

People, the next coach is going to bring somebody in, but he's going to look at VY as well. He'll decide who plays based off what he sees in camp and the feeling he gets when he talks to VY and whoever.

No coach goes "Oh no this guy is on the roster so I'm not coming here."

    Stupid.

Who knows if the potential new HC will have any affect on VY being on the roster next season or not? - With Bud as the Sugar-Daddy, I don't think anything is black/white.

So, you don't think Bud Adams is going to force the next coach to play VY? After paying him $14 million? And firing Fisher over it? I don't think it's as simple as just being on the roster. This potential firing is a message that Bud has chosen VY over Fisher. If that's the case, how could he not start?
