Kerry at age 70 just threw for 5 TDs in 2 games in a Jeff Fisher system. That's a 40 TD year/average by what is known here as a TERRIBLE QB. You're telling me a great QB couldn't do that here more consistently? Please! VY never has though.

Because our defense is full of average guys. Guys like Finnegan, Tulloch, Griffin and Brown are stars to no one but Titans fans. Why is KVB so good here and not other places? Big Al, Bulluck, PacMan, Rolle, Kearse all "stars" in Nashville but average players when they're gone.

I love how you downplay who the coaches beat in the Superbowl like it's no big deal. They won the Superbowl, who cares who they beat. That's really impressive and something Fisher has never and WILL NEVER do.

Gannon was also an NFL MVP so it's not like he's a pushover.

KVB wasn't good his last year here and is way past his prime, anyone can see that. Besides, KVB has had a solid year. As for Big Al, he was lazy. Anyone but the Redskins could see that. Pacman is a criminal who can't stay on the field (BTW who wanted us to draft him again? Fisher? Yep.) But he did well in Cincy this year. Rolle I mean, he was fine in Baltimore, nothing special. Kearse was never the same after his injuries. All terrible examples. If Griffin went somewhere he'd be great. Same with Brown. Fisher THINKS he's building the next Pittsburgh Steelers, truth is, he's not even close.

Weren't you in favor of firing Fisher 2 weeks ago anyway? Why did you hop on his jock again? Why am I even arguing with someone who can't make up his mind anyway?

Yeah and we all know Frank is the most objective personality when it comes to Fisher.

Wycheck has never said a bad word about Fisher in his life. He kisses the guy's butt every chance he gets. So I wouldn't take his word on the matter as gospel.

I think if Fisher goes and VY stays there will be a lot of pissed off fans. But not necessarily because VY was chosen over Fisher but because VY is still here, period. Judging by this forum as well as numerous Titans fans I speak to in person, the vast majority seem ready to move on from Fisher, regardless of whether they like him or hate him. Heck, you yourself were in that group a mere two weeks ago. :sad2:

I think most fans are sick of both of these guys.

You're right sawdust, I did say that with the understanding VY would be gone too. Can't disagree with this post at all.

    He's 111-97 without Vince (.534) and 30-17 with Vince (.638).

Vince has saved his job twice. Too bad he's not around to do it again. :sad2: :moon2: :thumb:

In Vince's 2nd season the defense and run game helped get most of those wins. Lets not just use blanket stats and assume Young has been a transcendent QB who gets us tons of wins. 9 TD and 17 interceptions speaks for itself.

But he still won 63 % WITH a QB that isn't "elite" which is about 10% better than his record without.

The elite QB argument isn't a good one. There are about 3-4 elite QBs each year. The most elite QB in the last decade won 1 superbowl. And that was due to 250 rushing yards from his RBs bailing him out.
Highly doubt Tom Brady would have ever been considered elite had he played for us all thse years.
