Vince is the only reason we made playoffs. Remember?

Whether you prefer Rogers or Vince...you don't have to bash Vince to prove a point. I can't wait to see all of you swallow your words next year when Vince is back with a new HC.

But somebody's gotta take a stand and not believe the hype. I'll gladly do it. How many of you all on this board have actually played football at any type of competitive level? Do you understand the intangibles of football?

Yep, and it was years ago now. I have to look back about that far to have a reason to believe in him. He was a bad QB that year. He just worked some magic in the right situations. The magic ran out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't Kelly Holcombe take the Browns to the playoffs one year? Certainly he deserves some praise.

First, if you want to compare stats, AR stacks up with the best of them and buries VY. VY has an injury bug.. no wait, it's more like an injury virus. Rodgers has over 3000 passing yards. What's VY have? 1200 or so?

They both have decent (real good) passer ratings... the difference is Rodgers has put in the work, has done well enough and hasn't missed anywhere near the time. Dude has 23 td's. He's going to start this weekend.

VY has played poorly. He's also played really well. If the game versus Pittsburgh is pointed to what is your response? It's Fisher's fault for pulling him and Collins didn't do much better, blah, blah, blah...

Answer this... Why in the hell did VY get injured in that game on MNF vs. Jacksonville? Poor, stupid play. Not Fisher. If he falls on that ball rather than try to pick it up like a moron... everybody knows that was a boneheaded move... VY probably got all bent out of shape. If I was his coach I'd blame him for injuring himself. That kind of criticism VY can't stomach. To be a success in this league you have to be immune to criticism. VY needs a thicker skin. VY is injury prone and gets extremely upset very easily. That's poor. That's not what I want in a qb. Aaron Rodgers has a great set of statistics, makes his starts, with the exceptioon of last week and has zero drama issues and wins games. The Packers are in contention. Aaron Rodgers is twice the qb VY is.

CJtheBeast- Just let them talk. If they can't or will not accept the fact VY is our QB, then that's on them.

No the difference is one plays for Fisher and the Titans and the worst offensive philosophy in the NFL and the other plays for Green Bay. PERIOD. Until you can prove that VY can't play football under another coach in the NFL, you're going to have to take a wait and see attitude. I can prove that VY was the best at his level in college over all these QB's including Rodgers and I can prove that VY was in the top 5 in QB rating most of this year before going on IR dispite of having Fisher as his coach. Fisher prefers Collins and tell me, is Collins QB rating in the top 5 at any point this season? For you to judge him now when Fisher is his only NFL coach is just flat out insane. It's the system and situation that can make or break a QB. Looking at their talent, how they perform in close games in the 4th quarter tells me VY and this is not even close. VY doesn't have that pretty throwing motion and he gets the job done. I believe he will do great when he gets another coach if it's the Titans or some other team. VY or anybody elses career is being wasted playing for Jeff Fisher. He's the worst coach in the NFL. I'd take Josh McDaniels in a heartbeat over Fisher. He sucks in the worst way.

Right now, I'd have to go with Rodgers.

I would have liked to see Vince learn from a future HOF'r in his prime for three years though. Rodgers has struggled pretty bad this year, and this poll isn't as big of a no-brainer as people portray. Rodgers will bounce back though. He has a bright future. A future with less questions than Vince.

Why do we have a Vince vs Rodgers thread when we really could use another "why Fisher needs to be fired" thread using up this space?
