What Vince Young did was get angry an cuss out his coach in front of his team mates. It doesn't matter if he was at a breaking point, upset about being injured, or whatever his excuse for the week is. The is immature and stupid.

If I'm pissed at my boss I don't stand up and walk out of a meeting and start cussing her out. If I did I wouldn't expect to be working there the next day.

So the numerous media reports about Young throwing his pads are wrong? Or is it some part of a media conspiracy to get Young off a team they ignore 99% of the year?

Also them having to RETRIEVE them fits more in line with the fact he threw them. I mean if he didn't throw them why would they need to be retrieved in the first place?

Yes and that is why Fisher needs to leave with Young. Once again it doesn't matter who the players support if both options suck. How many Hall of Fame QB's have pulled the stunts that Young has pulled: 0. Has Brady or Manning ever had these numerous continued issues? No. How about McNair? Nope. Being an NFL quarterback is a mix of leadership, maturity, talent, preparation, and durably. Young has done nothing to prove that he has the majority of these traits.

Wow. Maybe you should actually watch our games, rather than look at meaningless numbers on NFL.com.

Maybe Vince doesn't feel welcome because it's the "Men's" locker room?

Fact: "The Titans are on a six-game losing streak."

Opinion: "both Jeff Fisher and Vince Young SHOULD be cut from this team"

You completely missed my point... but whatever man.

Drops. He's a pro and he's dropped many balls that pros shouldnt drop. Go look at the two tds he dropped in the jags game. The passes literally hit him in the chest.

I'll translate what Scaife was saying...

"I'm not gonna speak for everyone...but everybody I talk to wants Vince back...especially the offense"

True, you and I simply can't do that, assuming you are an "at will" employee like I am. Vince is under contract, just like Fisher. The guy that actually has the power to fire Vince is Adams, not Fisher. Plus, this is football, a locker room, where tons of things are said and done that would get you and me fired in a heart beat.

The reports stem from Fisher's comments, primarily. Has the local media provided photos, fans who had possession of the pads, etc? My guess is that the pads did end up in the stands, but that proves nothing about the circumstances of how they got there, ie. simple toss of pads after jersey given to friend, or tantrum like throw of pads without regard to where they landed. Do you know of anyone who actually saw it and can say what happened?

I would agree I have never seen a Coach systimatically participate in a public leak campaign to disparage a QBs reputation over a period of years, I've never seen a Coach call the police and set up his QB for a meeting with a Police Tactical Squad over an "alledged" suicide incident the Coach later admitted he never thought was real. Nore have I seen a coach let it be known thru media he wouldn't start a certain QB even if his team's losing streak reached 6, all the while proclaim the then starting QB gave the team the best chance to win, nor have a seen a Coach who sat his starting QB when he was sufficiently health to play in favor of another QB who clearly wasn't. And I agree, no one I know of has made it to the Hall of Fame under the control of a Coach like that.

I agree, Scaife has had some drops this year at the wrong time but overall he has been a reliable TE in the passing and blocking game since he has been here.

Vince and Fisher don't have the same relationship that you have with your boss. Fisher can't fire Vince. Fisher makes less money than Vince. These two factors alone indicate a completely different employment relationship than anything typical in the corporate world. There relationship is more akin to a director and an actor. While the director is typically in charge of how the movie is shot, they do not have complete control over the big name actor. Their job is organize the movie in such a way as to best take advantage of the actor's talents. This is Fisher's job. He has failed to take advantage of the talent on this team. He should be gone.
