What does that get us over the past 5 years? Nothing! An immature, inconsistent Qb that can't win the big games, looks dumbfounded against top rated defenses and that's always injured or creating drama. Face it, he can't take us all the way. KC was 10-0 and took us 13-3 but bottom line that was then this is now. Like VY he has never been very consistent and not the guy to take us all the way.

If all you care about is getting a few more wins than losses, then sure let's just keep what we got and remain average at best. You asked what I want? I want to compete and win CONSISTENTLY at a high level and win playoff games and ultimately a SB! You say the facts disagree I beg to differ, I think the facts are clear...name ONE game in which VY looked great against a top rated team or defense...just ONE...over the past 5 YEARS. You can't because he ALWAYS losses when it counts and when under intense pressure he usually suffers one of his drama filled meltdowns. That's the FACTS, and that's NEVER going to win us a SB. With that said I think there's one thing we can ALL agree on. Our defense couldn't fight their way out of a paper bag!!! Absolutely embarrassing!!

I'm sorry, but when half of your seasons are incomplete because of injury and benchings, what screams "franchise quarterback?"

Time to give up on him and start over.

Yea lets ignore that he was benched by fisher for close to 30 games where he could have started in the past 4 years.

Vince wanting to play hurt is the whole reason we're in this current mess. Fisher wants you to believe VY doesn't want to be out there, and is too weak to come back, but it isn't the case. VY would be playing right now, if Fish didn't end his season.

Whatever dude...at least he beat the crappy teams! In our little 5 game losing streak we just reeled off, today was the FIRST opponent to have a winning record when we played them. Every QB looks dumbfounded against top rated defenses...THEY'RE TOP RATED DEFENSES! In the past two years VY has been the most successful, consistent thing we've had at QB since McNair. And Fish just can't deal with it.

This is the most inconsistent running game I have ever seen the Titans have. CJ could have 9 yards or 225 yards by the end of the day.

If you're going to pride yourself on running the ball you need to be able to count on it every week. And not just two or three long runs per game.

You know, id write a response, but i think its a bit rude when people(not you, but others) just latch onto one or two specific points and attempt to go to town on you while ignoring everything else. Also, I dont feel like writing out a long and detailed response right now. I just know its going to be pointless to watch the Titans the rest of the season, college is over now, lockouts look likely, and winter looks a bit boring now.

    Lets go Braves, I guess.

Exactly. If you actually think VY would be on the IR if it was his decision right now you need to eat a few bullets.

Let's put the injury talk to rest too.

His rookie year he wasn't injured. His 2nd year he got hurt but played the entire year with the strain. The 3rd year he got hurt but could have come back. This year he got bent like a pretzel. He was lucky he didn't have a serious knee injury. Then he tore a tendon in his hand. How was he supposed to avoid those injuries?

To say he is injury prone is ridiculous.

Since Mcnair we've had Billy Volek(career backup), Kerry Collins(journeyman) Rusty Smith(total question mark) and the #3 pick in the 2006 draft, who still doesn't have a hold on the starting job.

The fact that this team hasn't fallen apart yet is a miracle.
