Apparently Gruden was able to perfectly mimic Gannon in practice hence why he threw like 6 picks or something like that.

Gruden's personality isn't like Fisher but his coaching style is. Great defense, strong run game, game manager at QB. I for one am sick of this. Call me crazy but I'd like to try and get a QB who can win games with his arm and not by managing the game. I'd like a coach who understands the value of a great passing offense, something I'm not sure Gruden knows about and something I know Fisher doesn't know about.

Why that's maddening: so often within the division we are behind a team who stays on top with a strong passing game and who makes gigantic stars out of nameless receivers and TEs. One of the greatest NFL rivalries of the past 20 years has been between that team and another who has a strong passing attack and who makes stars out of nameless WRs and TEs.

Seriously, I get that not all QBs are Manning or Brady, but they took development also (Manning used to suck, if you'll remember). You can't develop without playing the game; you also can't develop when you keep getting benched.
