Arizona (Their QB's suck), Minnesota (What QB after Favre next year?), San Francisco (In dire need of one), Seattle(Hassleback Yeah ok), Miami(Henne VERY inaccurate), Cleveland (McCoy can be the guy, just needs time to learn), Buffalo (Fitzpatrick the future?), Oakland (Enough Said), Detroit (Can Stafford can stop being injury prone), Carolina (Their QB's are terrible even Jimmy).

He can excel in most of these teams, because they tend to not run up the middle every play, and like to pass more than the titans do.

    Any other Questions?

Ok, that's your opinion and I respect it. just don't agree with it. Both Chow and Dinger intimated more than once that Vince is a slow learner. And I think that is one reason the play book is simple. But I suppose we would have to go back and try to compare plays called with McNair and Collins to see if that is really so.

I mentioned this yesterday in one of the many Fisher threads and no one seemed to care. The irrational Fisher hate clouds people's judgment.

Sorry, I guess I missed that. Not trying to steal your scoop or anything. I just want people to be aware of this when they start talking about getting a new coach in Tennessee.

Oh no no, I'm not saying that. I'm saying people will let the facts of the situation slide by because they're being irrational this week.

It's a bad week to understand that Jeff Fisher is a good coach.

    Here's the thing...

if we have a horrible losing streak (like we're on), or let's say just finish 2-4 the remaining games... what's the difference?

That we'll also suck next year because people can't learn the new system in time? Seems like we are mediocre to suck anyway with Fisher. And two BAD losing streaks in two seasons, well... I'd rather roll the dice (even with the limited time) then go three in a row.

(Of course there is a lot of season left, I just don't see how this one ends good anymore)

So we're going to have a mildly retarded quarterback trying to learn a whole new offense in less than six weeks. That sounds perfect to me.

How is it possibly a good idea to bring back Young as a lame duck quarterback who doesn't know the offense in 2011 (and pay him $15 million for it)? The Titans would finish last and everyone would want to draft a quarterback (since they would have just watched Young play out a horrible season) and get a new coach (since they would have just watched whoever replaces Fisher coach a horrible season).

Doing that is basically the same as taking the problem the team has now and extending it for an additional year. Nothing would be solved and we'd all have to suffer for another entire season.

This is why the best answer to the current predicament is to cut Vince, keep Fisher on for one more season and give him one final chance (in 2011) to make the playoffs and make some noise. If he fails again, then you look to bring in a new coach in 2012 (when the labor situation will be resolved).

Lots of good points made. If Fisher can show me in the next 6 weeks that he can get this team focused, all 3 areas of it, and the team shows me positive results that they can overcome the VY debacle and play like champions on any given sunday and win, then I will give Fisher the benefit of the doubt. If they go 2-4 though, I say bye to Fisher and I get ready to go in a different direction. I'm sorry but excuses for a losing team can only be made for so long before you HAVE to make a change. 17 seasons and hardly anything to show for it.....*sigh

edit: when I say losing team I am refering to end of season records. I know we are above .500 right now so I'm not talking about at this very moment. I hope they can even prove me wrong this season actually.
