    "......
"Yesterday, he was informed by a coach at the facility not to attend Monday's team meeting and was free to leave. The intention was to be able to talk to the team about Young's situation and how the team would move forward," the team's statement said. "Players that are on injured reserve are not required to attend team meetings.....

That makes a lot of sense to me. Fish didn't need Vince at the meeting in which he intended to inform and unify the team to minimize the distraction that the Vince "issue" has created. Vince's presence would have defeated that purpose.

Yet another reason this team can't take it to the next level. 2 totally different mindsets making important decisions. Owners should own. Coaches should coach. The best teams in this league have owners who hire someone to take care of all this. All the circus's in the NFL come from these types of conflicting situations between coaching and owning.

Maybe Fishers hate towards Young for years doesn't allow him to make sound decisions. If Bud didn't step in, last year we would have gone 4-12 at best with Kerry Starting all 16 games. I don't like Owners stepping in either but Bud made the right decision before.

Or, for all we know, Vince had already been bad mouthing Fisher in the training room. Who knows but the people in the room? Are they going to say? don't think so

And kicking him out did not create sympathy for him on my part.

So what you are saying is Fisher's wanting Leinart would have gotten the Titans to a SuperBowl by now....Humm I seriously doubt that...Coaches should coach but when you have zero SuperBowl victories in 17 years maybe just maybe something needs to change!

Distraction is distraction, no matter the position played. He is their captain and acts like a petulant child. That is distracting to the job at hand.
