That's not durable. Never starting 16 games in a season is the definition of injury prone.

Chris Johnson has been durable. Keith Bulluck was durable. Vince Young has been injured throughout his career and has missed games as a result. It's not his fault, it's just a fact.

No the city wants a Super Bowl Championship! That trumps everything else and you are foolish if you don't believe that! \\

I agree with everything you said. Fisher is responsible. Which is why the more I thought about it, he should be gone too. This team is a head coach and a QB away from making a serious run for a few years. We have a good combination of youth and veterans, talent at the skill positions, and are very strong on both lines. I think Gruden/Hasselback would make us instant Super Bowl contenders, much like Gruden/Brad Johnson did for Tampa. Now I don't think Hass would be the long term answer at QB, but he'd give us time to develop a young QB behind him and still be able to take advantage of the talent we have on the roster right now.

Very true. And it will obviously never happen with VY as the QB.
Sorry, but the guy is, trying to think of a nice way to put it..... far too intellectually challenged? Nicest way I can put it....

Enough blaming someone else for VY's inability to make it as an NFL QB. Fisher is the reason that in 5 years this lazy loser can't step up his game and why he's still the center of such drama? Come on, he's a spoiled, temper tantrum throwing cry baby that can't read a defense and gets hurt every time he get's touched by a player from the other team will NEVER be an elite NFL Qb...period! It's time to face the music.

He had his chances, more than once and he shows he can't get it done on a consistent basis and once again he has a meltdown and quits on his team. I don't care how good he is (which he obviously isn't) if he's always sitting on the sidelines pouting or nursing some lame injury caused by his own clumsiness like diving for one of his own fumbles, then he's not going to be very effective for his team is he? He's lazy, doesn't study his craft and is not a leader, I've said all along he would flop here and mark my words he'll flop anywhere else he ends up going. Like I've said before, a loser is a loser and there's no fixing stupid!

Just because VY and McNair were close doesn't help us get a championship does it?...so who cares! VY couldn't carry McNair's jockstrap!

Even when we had a really good QB... we still fell short... every season... sometimes horridly so.

There's a lot more going on than just Vince. He's not the answer. He's the best option we have, currently, but he's not the answer.

However, he has been the deciding factor on some of the team's biggest wins... so if he wasn't here, how bad would we have been?!

You're right. I would have loved to have seen the career McNair would have had if Fisher would have turned him loose more, but that is a different conversation, different day. Both need to be gone this offseason so this team can take a step forward. There is a small chance we will draft high enough to land Mallett, if that happens and we can bring in a veteran for a season or two, that would be the perfect situation in my opinion. As I have said, I would love to see what John Gruden could do with the talent on this roster.
