Now the players are left with the message that a player who doesn't work hard and gets into fights with the coaching staff will definitely be back next season ("Oh god, yeah." - Bud)

How is that any better? I think it's worse. Not holding Vince accountable strips the coaching staff of the power that they need to wield in order to run the team.

I'm not so sure the coaching staff was successful running the team even before the VY explosion. They play like a very undisciplined team, hence all the stupid penalties (Babin, and Nickey I'm looking at you.) They aren't playing good football outside of CJ and Mariani and just the other day I was reading about how Moss enjoys the "Have fun and cut loose approach of the Titans."

This coaching staff is not about playing the best players. They're loyal to the guys they like (for whatever reason) and they'll play talented players when they have to.

Why is D Williams on the bench?? He's outplayed Gage in every way shape and form. Why hasn't Hawkins been used more? He played well when he was out there. How come we haven't been effective in getting CJ looks in space?

Vince has not been the problem for this team. He's helped us win games. He's literally taken over games to bring us back to win (how quickly we forget). When you want to talk about a weak link, talk about a weak link. Vince has been no such this year, last year, or his rookie year.

And if you remember ir was Vince's 1...yes 1 bad game that got him benched when he was the starter.

Vince blew Rusty Smith out of the water his rookie year.

Collins can suck for 6 games before an executive decision comes down to give Vince his job back.

I'd be pissed if I was Vince too. To say that he is a diva is extremely 1 sided.

That is the dumbest statement ever! This is the first year vince has actually had injury problems that have caused him to miss back to back games!! And actually i think its fish not trustin in letting vince play rather then vince to hurt to play! You would kno this if you heard wat vince said!! Apparently you are just like any other vince hater who goes away when he does good and then comes back when something happens! Your like a vulture, get a life man!

how about a limit to the amount of threads you can make in one day within a certain forum?

I really don't know what Fisher's deal is with Vince. He just won't trust the guy.

McNair and Vince were really close. I hope Vince Young is a Titan next year.

I can't blame VY for tearing a flexor tendon, spraining an ankle, or spraining a knee. Those things happen.

However, he has shown that he can be durable. He played 10 straight games last year( did have the hammy against the Rams), 12 straight as a rookie, and only missed 1 in his 2nd year( that's correct right? hurt the hammy against the bucs).

As I said earlier, Bud Adams also said we would remain the Tennessee Oilers and Nashville made him bend over on that one also. He listens to the city, and the city wants Young gone.
And I got news for you, if Fisher didn't win another game this season he still ain't going anywhere. Nashville likes him and want him here.
Besides, he's a very dashing fellow.... :ha:
