Looking forward to a month of Deuce free forums. December 5th through January 5th sounds pretty good to me.

i dont think he will be here past this year. it will take a great 8 weeks to convince them them that he is still worth the $ and can continue to play at a high level at this point in his career. plus we still have britt and williams who both have bright futures

Precisely why it may be worth it to shell out some money and keep him here for another year or two. Learning from one of the best to ever do it seems like a good investment for our rookie/sophmore receivers. Percy Harvin seemed to think Moss was worthwhile and I'd imagine our guys will too.

You'd better start praying someone changed their name to Randy Moss and the real one stayed in Minnesnowta, kid.

Moss is great due to natural talent- not what he 'knows'. Have you ever watched him play?

    He runs one route. Straight.

He doesn't go over the middle. He only plays half the time. He doesn't block. He doesn't run good routes.

He's just tall, fast, and has great hands. And he can't teach that. Not exactly the guy you want 'teaching' your young players.

Yet multiple people he's played with has called him a very smart football player and the young players he's been around felt that he taught them a lot. Sorry, I forgot that you (while sitting on the outside looking in) know more than people that have actually interacted and played with the guy.

He probably teaches them all kinds of ways to humilate people in public. Or how to get the fastest trip out of town.

It's pretty hard to believe but he actually used to post semi-intelligent stuff and I agreed with a lot of the anti-Fisher stuff he used to say.

One of Fisher's biggest problems is that he doesn't adapt to the team's strengths very quickly (as evident most recently in our 0-6 start last year) but once he gets over that hump, he seems to get pretty good production out of the players.

When he starts being an idiot and running the team into the ground (pun intended), I'll hop on board the 'Fisher is an idiot' train... until then I'll be glad he's doing all he can to improve the team (signing Randy Moss, allowing VY to throw the ball, etc.).

Let me ask a question--does Fisher call the plays?

    Pardon my ignorance
