So you're saying he was lying when he said he asked to go back in because he wanted to continue to use all time possible to work on the offense to get better because they aren't where they were last year? That pretty much proves that he cares about the team doing better as a whole. You can't really say he's lying when you really have no proof otherwise.

I won't say he's lying as you're right I have no proof otherwise. I will however say I find it hard to believe that was entirely the reason he asked to go back in. I seriously doubt that last meaningless drive in garbage time where the entire Jacksonville defense was gassed and already knew the game was over did very much to help our offense in the grand scheme of things.

I believe the biggest reason he wanted to go back in is because he desperately wants to hit 2k again so he can get his "history deal". Just my opinion though.

Also, regardless of what his motivation to go back in the game really was, the bottom line is it was a pretty big risk in a game that was already wrapped up. They have plenty of time during the week and on Sundays to work on their offense. I just don't think those few extra plays at that point in the game were worth the risk of CJ getting injured.

If CJ had blown out a knee after going back in this entire forum would be up in arms right now. Guaranteed.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I think that was at least part of it but I think he cares more about winning over his stats than most people give him credit for.

Yeah. I'm not saying he's not a team player at all or completely selfish or anything. I'm just saying I think he wanted to go back in for selfish reasons. I don't think he's necessarily a selfish guy in general. I think he's just somewhat selfish at this point in time because he feels disrespected and under-appreciated. It's just a matter of the circumstances. He thinks he's the best offensive weapon in the league (and he could be right) yet he's not even getting paid like a legit starting RB. So he's out to prove that last year wasn't a fluke and that he's deserving of a massive contract.

Clearly, CJ wanted back in to see if he could break one and hit 100 yards. Fisher was wrong to allow it.

I think you nailed it. Can you image the money he will make if he hits 2k again. He maybe more than the Titans can afford.

It was 4th and 5 yds and the game was won. No need to run it. Just take a knee and let the Jags take over on downs.

I can image how this forum would be screaming if another team had done that to the Titans.

Nope, I'd never whine for getting a beat down. Last year, the 59-0 fiasco, I didn't care they ran up the score. This is NFL. Professional sport. Grown men. Score as many points as you can. This isn't under 10 YMCA-league soccer.

    Damned right I would.

Ahmad doesn't need track speed. He's a pure runningback.

He also averages 1 more yard per carry than CJ without buttering his numbers with late garbage time runs.

Bradshaw actually fits Fisherball. CJ doesn't- that's mostly why I'd rather have Bradshaw. He moves the chains. Doesn't dance for 2 yards half the game then finally bust out a 60 yarder.
