Maybe... Its not really a thing to gloat about though. I'm just glad that what we were thinking is confirmed, and that he is actually making that step towards looking defenders off. It definitely shows he is becoming more cerebral instead of telegraphing passes.

Hold you horses...If you were reading carefully enough I never even said what I actually thought happened...I was simply pointing out that it was kind of ridiculous arguing either way because there are too many unknowns. Could it have been an accident, sure. Could it have been on purpose, sure. There's really no way of knowing for sure. Its kind of silly arguing whether or not it was intentional or accident.

There's a big differance in opinion and actually being able to prove something. Neither arguements are very sound. I just happened to pick on one side of the arguement because that side has the "weaker" arguement because they have to discount and disprove a lot in order to show that it was truely an accident. The "intentional" side has an uphill battle too if you want to show his intent, but they have one up on the "accidental" arguement because VY's intent was to throw a TD and the paly resulted in a TD.

So in a since I was trying to point out the fallacy in order to prove your point, "People are gonna take the TOUCHDOWN how they want to take it..." But its opinion, not fact, so people shouldn't assume that others should agree with them by saying "its obvious!!!!" or "he clearly intended." There was nothing obvious or clear about that play and no one can know his intention unless someone askes him, "did you accidently throw it to Britt?" if he said "Yeah I kinda meant to throw it to Bo but it sailed on me, luckly Britt was in the right position to make a play," then we'd know what truelly happened. Until he says that I'd like to give VY the benefit of the doubt. So I'm of the opinion that VY threw a perfect pass to Britt that was intended for Britt and no one else. But I can't prove it anymore then the next guy. So its a waste of time and arguement.

So whats funny is that we for the most part agree with each other. And I also think its sad that positive plays from Vince Young don't elicit the same feeling of elation in some other people and they have to over analyze him just so they can bash him even when he does well and makes a positive play.

    Yeah, I know we're agreeing.

I said "let it go" meaning trying to argue that it WAS an intentional play wouldn't go over well with some people who are determined to find negativity in regards to Vince. I meant your post would fall on some deaf ears.

I've never seen so many people waiting for someone to screw up and yell I told you so, I told you so. I wouldn't say he had a great game but he has to be able to make mistakes and get better.

I'm happy with Nate's play this year. VY shouldn't have to apologize for someone finally making a play on a ball. The fact that it was anywhere near target was pretty amazing itself with the pass rush. The throw to Britt was a throw to Britt.

Hope we can kick some butt on Monday.

I stand corrected and actually glad to be wrong. It's actually encouraging and hope it's a sign of things to come.

Now that it has been confirmed that he was throwing to Britt, are there any comments from those who were saying it was a lucky throw? (I doubt most of you will have the stones to come back on this thread and admit you were wrong).

well, even though it has been confirmed, I still think it is a risky throw just lobbing a ball up in the middle of the field towards the endzone while even though you're looking at one guy you throw to another guy in the same vicinity not really taking the coverage away from the play but bringing more into it. But it was a TD, so hooray! There's a lot more danger in that play, just throw the damn ball to Kenny in the first place, he was open the entire play!!

Well listening to Kenny and Vince, Britt likes the ball up high so he can jump, and constantly asks vince for a high ball and that's what VY gave him. And Kenny made a good play. I wish Monday can get here. Were arguing over a positive play. Come on.

I'm so glad they addressed this play... I think this is outstanding news... I think you will see them continue to turn him loose after seeing plays like that. He mentioned that Dinger said he had never used his eyes like that before... they will trust him more now and the Titans will win more because of it.
