It's not about being dead it's how it happens.

Using PETA? Come on Deuce you make it way too easy. What does this even have to do with the subject? Why are you avoiding the subject by trying to justify bad behavior with other bad behavior? And for the record one of my best friends runs a huge farm and nobody he knows or he himself cages up animals like PETA likes to think everyone does.

What does it have to do with it?

Watch the video and tell me it's painless.

I close my eyes to that sort of thing- but at least I admit it. That's the difference. Everyone's evil when people don't look at themselves and compare similarities.

Fair enough. I certainly agree that both are participating for "fun".

I think the important difference that I see is the mindset. I don't view a hunter's mindset nearly the same as a dog fighter's mindset. A typical hunter is in touch with nature and honing his skills with a weapon. The hunter is grateful for the kill and uses the animal for food. The "fun" comes from admiring one's ability. I'll also include hunters are killing wild animals, deer, duck, turkey, etc.

In dog fighting, you are taking a domesticated animal, and torturing it to the point it turns violent. Then you are excited and getting enjoyment by gambling and watching that animal kill another animal. I can't really describe that mindset, the best I can say is psychotic. It's that mindset that I find so disturbing, that people can derive such enjoyment from torturing animals and forcing them to fight to the death.

That's hunting vs. dog fighting, but a question, what about fish? I have fished before, do you consider me a hypocrite because I have purposefully killed fish but I am against dog fighting?

Well we know he admitted to both drownings and hangings of dogs that lost fights.

I have better things to do than waste 12 minutes of my life watching some BS PETA propaganda. Yea I'm sure some animals do have it bad but the vast majority don't. Peta been discredited numerous times as whack jobs who manipulate stats and see something bad happening here and assume it's happening everywhere.

So... what, do you think Peta staged it?

Watch the video. It's YOUR practice.

This is the problem. Point the finger. It's easier when you don't look in the mirror.

No they didn't stage it, they just found a case where it's happening and filmed it. Yet the 99.9% of people who do it right don't get any camera crews at their facilities.
