yeah, fisher is an idiot Karmarouge. At least at this point in time this looks like a smart coaching move as was my opinion when it was made. We needed depth at lb AND special teams and we got it week one along with some help against the steelers. What would blount have done for us last week?

 

I don't think karmadouche is here at the moment ,might be on a forced gotitans.com vacation.

 

I'm pretty sure this season that'd be a 15 yard penalty for helmet to helmet.

 

those LB on special teams were a great help on the Steelers 1st possession.

 

I see zero difference between our special teams from today and last year, still atrocious.

I'll admit that I'm still a bit upset that the Titans lost Blount, but people need to remember 2 things before they start whining again.

1) Most of Blount's yardage came in garbage time, when the Steelers were resting their defensive stars. He has a LOT of developing left to do before he's a complete NFL player.

2) The Chargers lost a game yesterday because they couldn't cover kicks. Special teams coverage DOES matter. Tim Shaw had 2 tackles for the Titans yesterday. Doesn't seem impressive, but either one of those plays could have been a kick return TD.

It remains to be seen whether Blount will be a star in the NFL, or even a decent player. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the front office of the Titans. They felt that bringing in some quality special teams players was more important than keeping a 3rd running back who would be inactive on game day. I'm sure many of you guys won't be willing to do the same.

 

I thought he wasn't going to contribute anything this year?
