I'm playing on custom sliders to make the game more difficult and I have 1200 yards rushing with CJ through 5 games, sort of makes the game no fun, even though I'm only 3-2. Probably going to do a fantasy draft so I don't have a RB who rushes for 4,000 yards.

Do what I do, play as a crap team. I am the Chiefs in my franchise.

That's always been the best part about Madden IMO, the build 'em up franchise team.

Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, Cincinnati have all become super power under my control. Do you trade your decent, older talent for high draft picks in the next years draft or sign free agents just to trade them away in package deals for first round picks? That strategy usually bags me around 6 or 7 top 10 picks the first year.

CJ is way too good in this game. After the first couple of games it wasn't even fun playing with him anymore. I was rushing for 200+ and putting up 40+ points of offense every game. I just won the SB in my franchise and am definitely gonna trade CJ... most likely to the Raiders or Redskins. :ha:

The "Be an NFL Superstar" mode SUCKS! You automatically displace the starter, even if you go to the Colts, you start over Manning. You should have to earn your spot. And You have no control over the depth chart, and drafting, etc. Which is no fun. You can talk to your agent, but the only one that does anything is requesting a trade. Practices are not fun...Just running plays over and over until you quit.

And in the offseason there is nothing, so you have to sim through 5 months of nothing which takes about 10 minutes of just sitting there. contract negotiations go "So do you want to play with us?" you say "Yes" then they say "Okay." that's literally it.

Overall, it's tolerable for one season, then it just gets old. The Titans' SB celebration is cool to see though.

i wish you could lobby the coaches to get certain players more PT. I'm sure a starting QB has some leverage in real life.

I've missed more extra point kicks in 15 games than I did in 15 years of Madden.:irked:

Yeah. I'm used to it now, but it still sucks in my opinion. They should work on changing things they get complaints on, and not things that are perfectly fine.

The only time I miss extra points is online when there's lag. Pretty frustrating.
