    Ala...

Went to the Rocket City Brewfest in Huntsville a few weeks ago. Bama has some good stuff going. Was very impressed with Straight to Ale and Good People Brewing.

GoT...never been to Old Chicago...do they have a website? I heard there was a Murf. place that had Foothills on tap. Love me some foothills. Dying to get hold of the elusive Sexual Chocolate.

Have you guys tried any of these?

I have tried one Penguin and have another at the house aging...32%

Same can be said of the Tokyo 18%

I am waiting on the guys at my office to go in on a few of these (like we did on the Tokyo and Penguin) and yes it is 41%

These are more the type of beers that you drink to say you have had one. They come across as condensed beer which is all that they really are. They basically freeze the beer taking much of the water out. They are not for everyone, and are sipping beers.

I prefer IPA's to all. I love the Dogfish 60 and 90, The 120 is ok. Stone Ruination, Victory Hop Wallop, Piraat Ale, Holy Mackerel, Terrapin Hopsecutioner just to name a few.

I have become quite the beer snob in my old age and try to stock up every few weeks or so to sample some new craft brews.

    Oiler...

Would LOVE to have some of those in the beer fridge just to have them..but you're right, just to say I've tried it because I can't imagine they are all that great. But unfortunately, they can't be found in my area.

I love IPAs. Heading to Bowling Green tomorrow and getting some Founder's Double Dog Imperial IPA....really looking forward to it. Love your list though...you are a beer geek my friend! Could be a beer trade in the future ;)

We had to import them directly from the Brewery in Scotland and it is only worth it if you have some friends splitting the shipping cost. Even then it is a hefty price just for a few beers.

Keep me in mind if you are looking for anything special. I have no problem with a trade. I usually hit Total Wine here in South Florida as they get a great selection.

    Here is their beer list...

The one I have been dying to try is Black Tuesday from The Bruery in CA.

Ugh! I can't stand IPAs, and yes, I have had "good" IPAs. I just don't get any enjoyment out of the extreme bitterness and lack of flavor. But, to each his own.

My "go-to" beer is New Belgium 1554. I like darker beers and have just started trying out "flavored" beers. One nice find, recently, was Peak Organic Espresso Amber Ale. Anyone else tried that one?

IPA's are an acquired taste for sure. When I first started drinking them the first sip was always the worst, but each sip after, they mellow a bit and keep tasting better and better each sip.

I find IPA's to have a ton of flavor, but just me. I love imperial Stouts, but not this time of year...Old Rasputin is awesome as well as Goose Islands Bourbon County.

Oiler...if there is ever anything that you hear you can get up here, but not in South Florida, let me know. And in Kentucky you can get Bells, Founders, 3 Floyds and Goose Island, so I make regular trips up there as well.

Tuck...1554 is a nice beer. Try to see if you can find a Vanilla Porter, like Breckingridge Vanilla Porter. Let it warm up a bit and you won't be sorry. Nice smooth porter without alot of heaviness.

Bells Two Hearted Ale, simply delicious.

I will keep you in mind and you do the same. I am sure you will have fun looking at the beer menu I gave you.
