More incredibly flawed logic. Yea the NBA would like to see the series go 7 games because it means more money but that doesn't equate to them fixing games. You're making a huge logic leap. "Well more games means more ratings so naturally the NBA will fix their games to make this happen." Do you not see how that is incredibly flawed thinking? Besides, Garnett was in foul trouble too so don't give me this fixing the game argument for game 2.

If the NBA fixes games why did they allow the Orlando/Atlanta series to be beyond unwatchable? Stop with the flawed logic people it's pathetic.

The "flawed logic" you speak of is pretty much UNDERSTOOD as truth with most real basketball fans.

You're out in dreamworld or something. Google it... join us in the year 2010. Please?

Meanwhile- Phil Jackson is going to lose this series tonight in game 3. Same crap "gameplan". Dude might as well be a cardboard cut-out on the sidelines.

So lets see. I proposed a series of questions proving the NBA isn't fixed and asked you to answer them to defend your stance. Not surprisingly you answered none of them proving you have no proof and you're argument has no legs to stand on. I think you're in the dreamworld. If the NBA truly was fixed it would take hundreds maybe thousands of people to be in on it and not say a word. Not to mention no finals would end in a sweep. You've proven you can't defend your stance so until you can keep quiet and stop pretending you know what you're talking about.

Meanwhile you're wrong but hey what else is new? But I gotta ask another question I'm sure you wont answer, if the NBA is fixed why does it matter what Phil Jackson does or doesn't? I mean if games are fixed it shouldn't matter how good of a coach he is or isn't right?

I answered none because I clicked "last page" and didn't see the post.

I'll answer your questions when I go back to read.

Start watching basketball, friend. Actually don't. You'll see how corrupt it is and dislike it.

And I was wrong because luckily, the refs started bailing the Lakers out.

You see? I have no problems admitting it when the Lakers are the ref's favored team to win.

There have definitely been games fixed by referees, even if not a collective effort. Your flaw is assuming (a) the NBA is behind it and (b) every game with blown calls was a purposeful effort to screw someone over.

And so far I've seen no evidence to support your claim and no youtube videos are not evidence. Youtube is what idiot 911 truthers use to spread their message. No sport is more influenced by referees than basketball so it's easy to assume that the games are fixed. Problem is their isn't strong or any evidence to support this. The problem with YOUR logic is no evidence. Hell, even Tim Donaghy never said the NBA is rigged. Do some refs have some bias? Sure, but that's true in any sport. And for those that think it's fixed think about this, you're agreeing with gloat, I think that says it all.

Whatever, I'm done with this stupid argument. If you think the NBA is rigged then stop watching. I'm going to deal in reality right now.

I loved how ESPN pretty much was all over Ray Allen calling him one of the greatest shooters in NBA history after that game and then a big 0. I picked Boston at the start of the series but I gotta say, it was game 2 that changed my mind. I know LA lost but look what it took, a record setting night from Allen, a below average night from Kobe and nothing from Odom and Artest. And even then I thought LA lost the game more than Boston won it.

Going into games the refs are open minded and honest with their calls. It's during the heat of the moment they call phantom fouls or travels that don't exist. They get caught up in the emotion and balance out the game to where it's always competitive. I don't think the refs are walking into the Garden in Boston with the intentions of helping anyone win. They simply keep the game going. Look at Boxing, Cotto's fight was extended by the ref Saturday night well after that fight was over. The refs clearly in most sports want the game to stay competitive, and if calling a foul gets the other team back in the game, the refs get involved. REMEMBER how I said that; I don't think the refs are fixing these games, but they ABSOLUTELY use their powers to keep a game going.
