Nah...it's a real issue. I pretty much can't get on this site unless its after 3am Central time. It's border line ridiculous. I started a thread about only allowing members to get on the site during certain times, big news times, draft, games, etc, and the thread was promptly deleted by an admin....must be some sort of conspiracy

We back up the forum each night from 1-3 a.m. It does take up most of the resources of the current server to do that.

We did close the site down to only members every game last season. It helped but didn't do enough.

As I've said now a number of times, we are looking to upgrade. Since it will double my current server fees, I'm trying to find the best deal I can and should have everything changed over before training camp.

Thanks Jeff, people tend to forget that this site is free to us but not to you.

    ^^ Agreed. It's a great site.

How did this thread get so off topic?

Anymore Willams updates, predictions, analysis after seeing him practice?

Yea I agree let's get back on topic. Williams apparently is very slippery, some of the coaches are impressed I was reading on a couple other sites. I'm thinking he will be our 4th wide receiver. Consider mark jones, lavelle hawkins, edition, p Williams , and a seemingly impressive Marc mariani all battleing for the #5 spot with a possible 6. Mariani I've read catches EVERYTHING. And is quick. It would be pretty cool in a few years if britt, Williams, and marina at slot were our core of receivers.

Thanks for the update. I'd like to see Williams move to the #3 spot of he lives up to his potential. I'd like to see 1) Britt 2) Gage 3) Williams 4) Washington

Nate hasn't done anything to hold onto his spot. Give some new blood a chance

Justin Gage, now Justine (to me) is no better than a forth option receiving. My depth goes; Britt, Washington, Williams, Hawkins/Gage/who ever. I'll be waiting for Dam to take over the show, he has on every other team he's made. He may even take the No.1 spot within a few games. The fans all want Britt running the WR show, but does he? Williams is hungry, according to Fisher Britt seems complacent with just being okay-good.

You're out of your mind. Washington number 2? This isn't Madden, dude...it takes more then speed to be a successful receiver. Nates most memorable plays ended with the football bouncing off the turf last year. That clown dropped like 4-5 passes that were sure TD's when he had the entire D beat and dropped a perfect ball. He screwed Vince out of about 200 yards and 3 score for sure. Colts game is coming to mind. Gage, on the other hand, literally broke his back making a fearless, full extension catch in traffic and bringing it down after being flipped over midair. Sure, make him number 4. Let Nate Droppington and the 3rd round Rookie play ahead of him.

    1) Britt
    2) Gage
    3) Williams
    4) Hawkins
    5) Washington

Out of what I've seen (minus Williams) this is how I'd set the depth chart. I'd actually be happy if they cut Washington. He hasn't done anything to make the roster.

    The depth chart will be:

    1) Gage
    2) Britt
    3) Washington
    4) Hawk (maybe Williams)

There's almost no chance of Britt taking over the top spot right off the bat. Honestly, I think Fisher may even put Washington ahead of Britt to start the season. Britt hasn't shown much desire to be the #1 guy thus far and unless there's a drastic change, don't expect him starting. He's a very talented guy, but it takes more than talent to be a #1 guy in the NFL.
