One or two data points isn't significant.

I provided 10 data points and I think the 86% increase in points under VY speaks for itself.. Part of QB play isn't just in stats it's in converting critical third downs, avoiding turnovers when points can be scored, and intangibles i.e. leading the team.

VY took the same team that went 0-6 and went 8-2 and you're trying to make the argument that they just spontaneously started winning despite him? You can argue that his impact wasn't as severe because he faced lesser competition but to try to ignore it completely or significantly is just being stubborn. The facts speak for themselves.

I'm curious what the people who don't like Vince Young want the Titans to do about it. Do you think they should have drafted a QB in rounds 1 or 3? Should they have traded for Campbell or McNabb? Should Collins start the upcoming season?

 

I would have been all for a McNabb trade... but the only way we would have been able to do it is if we gave up this year's 3rd rounder and next year
s second.

We would be amazing with McNabb... I'm starting to be a Vince-lover rather than hater, but even I would rather have done a McNabb trade than have Vince as our starter.

Donovan probably has another two solid seasons in the league. I can only imagine... McNabb and CJ.

 

I would have drafted a QB late- like Lefevour, Tim Hiller, etc. Someone that is low-risk at the pick, but could actually be a starter.

I wouldn't even mind making a move for a guy like Pennington. With our O-line and his accuracy (short), he'd be a perfect fit here.

 

Rusty Smith has the makings of a pro bowl QB...

 

The QBs in this years draft sucked. I would have rather had Young than any of them. I also think Young has earned another year to prove his worth so we'll see. If he does well than great if he bombs than we draft someone.
