We'll see but this will be the make or break year for Young. I have doubts but I'm also optimistic. But failure to make the playoffs I think would have to result in a new coach and QB.

But on a personal note I hate Jim Rome and Erik Kuselias. Their arrogant D bags who always talk like their right and everyone else is wrong.

you guys put to much effort in debating a Qb, the way i see it, if the fool continues to lose in the playoffs year after year, then they suck face. like Tony Romo.

a good QB should be able to move through the playoffs and earn a trip to the SB. who cares what the stats are, put your team in position to win the most important games in post season.

So Bill Wennington is a better basketball player than Charles Barkley because he has more wins in his career?

By that measure, you're saying that Pierre Thomas and Joseph Addai (among a slew of others) are better running backs based on the number of team wins.

Wins in spite of a quarterback is what gives some quarterbacks a ton more time to "come around" than someone on an already otherwise terrible team...like Jamarcus Russell.

And, if you had 2 potential guys to handle your accounting, and one thought 2+2 was 8 and the other thought 2+2 was 6, would you let the guy that thought it was 6 do your taxes because he wasn't quite as bad as the other guy? That's essentially what you are saying.

Brilliant comparison..... VY is the team leader playing the most important position on the team. He has to step up. I agree the Qb needs some help just like Jordan needed help winning a championship (since we are talking NBA for some reason and Wennington). But if Jordan kept playing like VY has so far it would not have been good enough.

I'm glad you admitted QB is the most important position on the field. Now, I want you to statistically tell me where he ranks among starting QB's coming into the 2010 season. From here, i see a guy that has averaged just over 150 yards a game, has more INT's than TD's, and a QB rating that at his best is about as average as you can get. So you're happy with THE most important position on the field being average at best?

This team went 13-3 with one of the worst QB's in the league in 2008 behind center. THAT is how good our defense, run game, o-line, and every other position on the field is.

At absolute best you and all the non-haters are doing nothing more than defending mediocrity. That's why the Steelers, Patriots, and Colts have excelled in the AFC and we haven't.

statistically speakin vinces record is very good. NOw your comparison bout whoever that basketball player was, was he a starter and did the game rely mostly in his hands every game like it does in vinces?

are you really talking about how good our D is??? In two of the 3 years vinces has actually played in the D was absolutely terrible especially his rookie year and this pass year!!!

So when Vince wins a game 10-3, you feel that was mostly because we relied on him?

Unlike other sports, in football you only play one side of the ball. Either defense or offense. Not both.

In 2007 when Vince was our QB and he *led* us to the playoffs, the Titans averaged less points than the year the Lions did not win a single game. That is confidence beyond belief in the leader of an offense that has limited production.
