    Like i said, i like the pick, even though it's not a pretty pick.. Also, i have to agree with Duece Wayne on this one. Morgan is a good player, but he is nothing more than that from what i have seen.

    I'm willing to bet alot of you guys have never seen JPP, or Morgan play to give your two thoughts about them. Don't buy into what the media says about a certain player. I watched Morgan play alot and like i said before, he doesn't stick out when you see him play. That doesn't mean he won't be a good pro, i'm just stating that in this division you need a DE that can get to the QB..

    My DE comparison- Charles Grant

    As I told my friends after the first round was over, "I'm not disappointed, but I'm not happy." This was a VERY safe pick. But it's not as bad as it could have been. We need to be thanking the Giants for taking JPP before we had the chance to take him. So thank you NY, I hope you're happy for years to come with Mr. Backflip.

    It just seems to me that Morgan hasn't played against very good competition. The ACC was way weak. I honestly think Hayes and Ford are better (experience in the league aside) and he'll be at best the #3 DE.

    But I will say, I had a similar, actually worse reaction to the Chris Johnson pick, and that's seemed to work out ok.

    As a qualified internet GM who has spent numerous hours watching film (youtube videos) and poured over scouting reports from my trusted scouts (kiper, mcshay, walterfootball, fatwhiteguydraft.com, ebony bird, squidoo, drafttek, football jabber, and an assortment of bleacher report mocks) I can say without hesitation that this pick sucked.
    I wasn't able to do a character evaluation because this guy had the gall to block his myspace facebook, and twitter accounts. That to me indicates deception and is probably why he 'fell' to us @ 16. I can say with utmost conviction, Dez Bryant should have been the pick but noooooo....the Titans FO never listens to their most trusted source of information;

    Love the pick. Why? because its what my team decided was best and i support what the team decides, not to mention the fact the kid hasnt even played a preseason snap yet. give him time and see how he is.

    I was mad at the CJ pick too. Also Roos and the Jason Jones pick.

    We get a top ten player at 16 and half of you are mad LOL?????
    Probably the most solid safest pick in the draft and he will NOT be a bust.
    He fits us good he plays inside and out side left and right.

    GREAT PICK.!!

    When the draft started I was wanting Morgan but thought Miami was going to get him at 12. So when he fell to us I was pretty excited. However, I am not sure how the Jets are getting so lucky. I mean who would have thought Wilson would have been there so to me they are just building up their stock. I aint going to lie, not having a 2nd round pick is going to hurt us. Plus this CJ thing is starting to bother me. He wont play if we dont pay, and then my bubble bursted tonight with the realization Haynesworth trade talks are dead.

    Like I said awesome pick, I wasn't sold on Graham couldn't even tell what position he plays some have him a DE which if that's the case he's too small to play DE and one of our biggest problems in the past was under-sized DLs.

    As for JPP I'm sorry but one season isn't enough to prove your worthiness in the league the Jets got lucky with Sanchez plus something tells me those fifteen back-flips he did at the combine had our scouts flagged him as an arrogant mf which you know Fisher doesn't want those kinds of players on his team.

    We could have traded down and drafted Thomas, Hughes, or Williams, but this guy was projected to go at one point as high as number 8 to Oakland or number 10 to Jacksonville; he's a steal.

    I like the pick but I dont love the pick. Graham is the one to me that has reached his ceiling, I did not want him. Wished we could have traded down and got a second rounder back. There are lots of first rounders that did not get drafted. He was expected to be a 10 to 12 pick so it was good value and filled a need.

    Is Dwight Freeney too small to play DE?
