I don't really understand the Kearse comparisons. i mean, i guess it's easy to compare him to Kearse for titans fans because it's something we can all relate to, but he really isn't in the same league as Kearse.

Kearse's first step and burst are what set him apart from the rest of the guys in the league. when you watched piere-paul, do you see the same first step? i don't.

the one who compares to Kearse as far as athletic ability is jerry hughes.

Everybody rights Hughes off as a possible pick for us because they think he is a 3-4 OLB. I would not be mad if we took him at #16 or traded back and landed him.

    1. Wilson
    2. Morgan
    3. Graham
    4. Hughes

Give me one of those guys on draft day

BOOM or BUST. Id be soo pissed if we pick him. I think Morgan, Graham, Hughes, and Dunlap are better then this guy. If you like his motor, check out grahams motor. He Destroys! Bryan Bulaga on his highlight video and i watched him do it again at the the senior bowl. if we go DE at 16 i hope its not JPP

Hughes is gonna be a beast. But as a 3-4 OLB and not a 4-3 DE. At 6'1 255 he seems a bit smallish for end. But everything else looks great about him. Besides the speed and power moves his play recognition seemed outstanding on your vid.

The two DEs that have the best freak like athleticism are Griffen and JPP and I see both being like Jamaal Anderson at the next level. Look like Tarzan but play like Jane.

If I were going to bet I'd bet Dunlap has a better NFL career.

Great post Soxcat. You make a very valid argument, when comparing the 2 Griffen seems to have the edge physically and definitely in experience.

I prefer Graham then Hughes over JPP.

Is it possible we trade this 16th pick to Washington for Haynesworth and a 2nd to be sure our D-Line is good for a while? Then move Jones to DE? Let's face it, there's no Haynesworth caliber guy or anyone close in the draft, and we are looking to improve our D-Line right.

That could possibly be the worst move by this organization ever.

How? We have no clue what they're planning to do with that 16th pick, most likely trade back to collect an extra pick. Giving up that pick for Haynesworth and their 2nd seems like a win win for both teams. We get our defense back, and they move a growing problem.

Albert laid down last year and pocketed 32 million dollars. They were talking on the lunch zone today that he was paid $8 million per sack.
