No thanks. I'm not willing to gamble the 16th pick on a guy who only played one year of Div I football. If it were like the 3rd-7th round, yes, but not the 16th Overall pick! That's worse than the Woolfolk pick.

I'd take him over Dunlap any day of the week. Honestly, I'd prefer him if we are going DE. Morgan is close too, but I doubt both will fall to us anyway. I still want us to go CB in the first though.

The guy has Chris Henry written on his chest. He can do back flips around the entire stadium for all I care. What I want to see is someone with instincts and a proven track record along with the athletic ability. There are too many real solid football players with similar athletic abilty we should consider IMO. With that said if we do draft him at least we have a solid DL coach.

Yeah, minus his production and ability to get the QB... Or do you mean the Kearse as in the one we have seen the past couple of years? I am sorry, this kid HAS SHOWN nothing to warrant a first round pick. There is a reason he didn't play for a bigger name school.

And also, do you really think CJ would be were he is if he didn't have this TITAN offensive line? And also, alot of us were "beeyotching" because we drafted a running back for the third straight year in the early round,,

He's no Freak Jr. but he could be good. We all know how Washburn can mold these raw guys, but since we need a DE we need a DE, not a LB/DE. Pierre-Paul is an athlete before a football player and I know those types don't always workout well. I want a DE, not an in-betweener who has to move around to find the weak links of the O-line to create pressure.

Watching his films, he does look alot like Jevon out there. He even carries Jevons number.
He played one year of football. Those other teams weren't 'on' to him. I'm curious as to how he would have numbered in his second year when the other teams were ready for him. Playing Rutgers and Northern Ill, then moving on to playing the Colts and Steelers. It's been done before but rare. Someone brought up CJs name, he did it. The 2 RBs drafted before him, they didn't.
Maybe a second round (which we don't have), or later but he won't be there.

His arm length or height may be comparable to Kearse, but he's such an unfinished product he'd spend 3/4 of a play thinking what to do and not doing it. Kearse was hot from day 1 ,and knew where to be. JPP is not The Freak 2.0

I don't know enough about the kid to say he's not that good, but I will say that he has a lot of upside. He would be a risky choice at 16 but then again, every pick is a risk. He could be Dwight Freeney or he could be just another DE in the league. It's a tricky pick.
