Texas had a bunch of problems in 2005 to 2007 but as of late Texas has been pretty clean, about the biggest problem we had was a couple of DUI and those guys have cleaned up and not had another problem since.

Texas did kick one guy off the team for a disorderly conduct arrest, and another guy left the team and then got himself into trouble but he was already gone when he screwed up.

Some real high class discussion going on here. Duke doesn't like shipley because he is a "white type" and Austin bill is so full of orange Koolaid he thinks that shipley is faster than a 4.28 guy.

I can settle the Texas vs Michigan debate right quick. They both suck compared to the SEC. RolllllllllllllllllllllllllTideeeeeeeeeee!

I like Jacoby Ford better and we know that Fisher and MR love speed.

I agree there's got to be a middle ground on the Shipley debate. He is definitely a solid WR with good hands, nice speed and really good return skills. Is it safe to compare him to Wes Welker, not really. BUT he has the potential to be as good if not better than Welker. I don't see us taking a WR in any of the first 3 rounds so I would count him out as a Titan.

I won't even take anything away from Alabama for its Championship but they got really lucky when McCoy went down. I'm not a Longhorns fan so I'm not saying that Texas woulda beaten Bama. But had he not gone down, Bama would not have won that game. It wouldn't have even been close.

Sure the SEC is a tough conference but the Big XII ain't no sissy league like the Pac-10 or the Big Ten.

Not to go off topic but what is Alabama's record vs Texas?

    ANSWER: 1-8-1 I do believe.

So to answer your question you freaks got your first win over Texas about 3 months ago. Congrats.

BTW no SEC team has a winning record over Texas, Saban is now 1-1 vs Mack.

So to reply to your statement, Texas owns the SEC.

PS - Colt plays, Texas wins going away.

"Colt" signs like a gay porno actor.

The Longhorns scored 27 points against the best defense in college football. How much better could they have done with 'Colt"?

It's not like the guy got a virus before the game he got hit really friggin hard and was injured.

Texas is obviously a great program and the big 12 a good conference but maybe somebody could play some defense in that conference.

Note that when it comes to the draft i have no bias for Bama players or against teams i don't like. I will gladly take a Florida or Texas player who i think will make a positive impact for the titans.

Dunlap and Thomas are at the top of my list.

Meh. If Joe Namath would have played, Alabama would have won by 40.

No, he didn't get hit really hard, he got hit at just the right spot that it stung his throwing shoulder and he lost all feeling in his arm.

And to start with if colt is in the game after the first few plays Texas likely scores two touchdowns to start the game instead of two field goals, he also likely doesn't turn the ball over 4 times nor does he fumble the ball.

His ability to run with the ball probably gives the bama defense fits, a defense I consider to be really really overrated.

Nebraska, and Oklahoma both were better.

Like I said, Texas more than likely puts up about 40 pts and doesn't give up all those turnovers deep in Texas territory.

I say the score probably ends up somewhere like 42 to 24 Texas.

with all that said, I don't live in the world of "what if" I still say bama won that game fair and square so congrats.
