Graham isn't an LB prospect anymore, I don't care what anyone says. He's not as fast as Lamarr Woodley- and I'm sure that's where scouts are making the comparison.

He's a DE. He's all power, and at LB he'd basically be rendered useless other than stopping the run. He can't cover faster TEs.

    Um...

LOL...Can you guys get off the he's only this or only that? Graham CAN play DE for a 4-3 or OLB in a 3-4. Woodley isn't particularly good at covering fast TE's one v one either but he's not asked to do it often. He's usually either blitzing or covering a zone.

Graham hasn't done the coverage part much in college, but neither did Woodley. They are very similar. A little short for 4-3 DE, and not ideal speed/quickness for 3-4 OLB, but they can do either and be quite good at it.

How would Graham be rendered useless other than stopping the run? He's a pretty good pass rusher if you haven't noticed.

In the past the titans have played Henry Ford, John Thornton, Robaire smith and Tony brown at DE. How is Marks different from those guys?

If we are looking for a pure pass rusher then Jerry Hughes is the best guy. He is the best edge rusher in this draft.

He had solid times in the 40 and the cone and was the fastest D-linemen in the shuttle.

I looked at all his videos and he plays extremely fast and runs people down. He is not just a one dimensional speed rush guy he has the ability to mix it up and make adjustments when the QB moves in the pocket.

    Outstanding college production.

I don't know where we would draft this guy but i'm liking him more than ever.

He is projected as a 3-4 OLB but his whole career has been in a 4-3 rushing with his hand down.

    Well...

We had a different scheme when Ford, Thornton and Smith played end for us. Brown played some end because he's a quickness/size mismatch for LT's in that he's got a very quick burst but is also around 300lbs. Brown is a good pass rusher...especially one v one. Marks is NOT a good pass rusher and since our D is built on being able to get pressure with our front 4, it makes no sense to put him at DE unless it's 3rd and inches or a goal line situation...but we're not really talking about those specialty situations.

    Yup!

Yeah, he's one of my favorite players in the draft. I think you try him at DE and see if you get an Elvis Dumervil type or if he's ineffective, you move him to strongside OLB to replace Thornton. I don't see a downside with him. He's an excellent all around player. I think he has the talent to go mid-one but a lot of teams will downgrade him due to his height AND weight for playing DE and downgrade him at OLB because he has no experience doing it while guys like Weatherspoon are 'pure' LB's. I definitely could see him dropping into round 2 but some of that depends on how teams compare the boom/bust DE's (Dunlap, Griffen, JPP), the CB's (everyone not named Haden or Thomas), and how 3-4 teams compare him to the Segio Kindle's of the world and how 4-3 teams evaluate him vs a Weatherspoon, McClain, Washington. I wouldn't be shocked if a team like the Pats/Steelers/Colts took him. He'll find a spot in the NFL and probably can have success in both a 3-4 or 4-3 system...he may or may not have to change positions though.

My two cents: Just say "NO" to DE @ 16th pick in Draft. We don't need to use a pick that high to get production.
Use the 16th pick to get top shelf corner, LB, WR, Spiller, or Safety or trade down and pick up Graham. He is the only one I get warm fuzzies about.

How do you know that the guy has hardly played? He had a sack last year in limited playing time.

We have 5 DTs under contract right now so somebody may have to move outside on occasion especially if we have an injury.
