    Four-year, $22 mil. He gets $14 mil in the first two seasons.

    He made some money after a one-year, $2.5 mil season.

    So the Pats paid someone, and it looks like a decent contract.

    I wonder how close our offer was? Probably $22 million less?

    Just going by what I read, it sounds like the Pats and Bodden kept the lines open since he said he wanted to remain in Boston. Of course, all players usually say that. Bodden's trip to Houston was probably to gauge his value and he realized he wasn't going to get anything close to Dunta money.

    The Pats knew what they had in Bodden already. Both sides came out good.

    The Pats overpaid him. They have history of doing that. What idiots would think he is worth that kind of money.

    Just another foolish waste of money and cap space by a foolish organization.
