And for the record, Asante Samuel is a slightly-above-average talent who was overpaid. He is also one of the least physical CBs to ever play the game and would never fit in the Titans' system.

If you're going to complain about a guy the Titans didn't get, at least pick a realistic one.

I forget we are Titans fans and we don't want players that get 9 ints a year and are actually good.

And yeah, he would've signed here for enough money.


I disagree with the premise that every free agent is "average talent".

 

The start of the new league year should just be named "fan over-reaction day." It would get the point across more clearly.

 

Why sugarcoat it? TJ makes a totally valid point.

 

If we don't land a solid CB via free agency then Mike Reinfeldt is more than just an idiot.

 

I guarantee you this won't be the only complaint thread. A new one will pop up within the week.

 

I'm with you JC, I want either Leigh Bodden or Dunta Robinson. Nick Harper just ain't gonna cut it.

 

I hope we are at least talking to Dansby and Aaron Kampmans agent.

But I guess they are both average talent that is about to be overpaid, like Julius Peppers.
