Well, I won't lie, I love this team, but I am very upset with Fisher. I wish he had more B@LL$ instead of making every game close in the 4th quarter. I really did like what we did against the Rams, but that is only one game. The only way I can forgive Fisher is to Bring Home the Lombardi Trophy.

    ALL I WANT IS ONE!!!

Then maybe will I consider him to be a great coach.

And that ol Bud is why you'll never see a Super Bowl championship in your lifetime. "We ended up with a good year when all was said and done, and I am pleased with what happened.". If you settle for mediocrity year after year then that is exactly what you'll get. when you set the bar so low then I guess you'll always be pleased when it is all said and done.

I think the key word in Bud's statement is "ended", talking about the 8-2 or at least that is my interpretation of it. I expect he was as angry about the 0-6 as everyone else.

Ok who is this stud head coach who would win a championship? Name him please.

By my count there are 28 coaches in the nfl who have never won a title.

    You need a damn education!

8-8 is not a losing season. Neither is 13-3 or 10-6.

Poster boy for clueless saying that somebody else needs an education?

The Lions wanted to win so bad they kept Mat Millen for 10 friggin years.

The season ended with an 8-8 record. We only finished 8-2 because Bud had to intervene to get VY on the field. Even after we started winning games not only could we not beat the elite teams on our schedule (Indy and SD) but we lost badly. Not to mention the 59-0 debacle that everyone seemed to forget about once we won a couple games. I seriously don't get why everyone loves Fisher so much. Same crap every season of JF being an arrogant jackass who either goes 8-8 or makes the playoffs and gets bumped in the first round. I guess our expectations are so low that one lucky season where you get to the Super Bowl gets you lifetime pass in Nashville.

It starts at the top. We have a mediocre owner who hired and keeps a mediocre head coach that drafts mediocre talent. When we do actually get great talent here we are content to let them leave.

I'm guessing you are blaming Fisher for CJ getting hurt and for Lendale and Crump fumbling the ball in crucial situations? Cause those are the ONLY reasons why we lost to the Ravens.

This is why the Fisher haters are laughable. The "59-0 debacle" came before we won our 1st game and were injured in our secondary. We had 2 back-up corners starting, who were terrible, against 2 of the very best WR's in the NFL.

As far as "not starting VY" what had VY done to shown he needed to start? He was put in both the Colts AND Pats game earlier in the season and he played terrible in both games. I mean I'm glad we ended up going with VY and he worked out, but people need to understand VY certainly wasn't helping his own case of why he deserved to be the starter.

No this is why all you JF apologist are laughable. There is NO excuse for an NFL team to lose 59-0 to nothing in a BLIZARD no less. Isn't bad weather supposed to help a defense? And who's fault is it that our depth is so bad that we lose a couple starters and we have the worst defeat in franchise history?

"As far as "not starting VY" what had VY done to shown he needed to start?" The question to ask is what had KC done to show he deserved to remain the starter? He was dismal in every game he played this year. Before VY got the start he was only given time at the end of a game when they were already way out of reach. Once given a fair shot we all saw what he did.

True. That probably wasn't the best of examples but I could have used any number of coaches who were unable to turn a program around.

Or, it could be a situation where Fisher truly believes he's doing what's needs to happen and, quite possibly, the game has passed him by. Sometimes, even those with the best of intentions, fail.
