that would be very entertaining. I'd say Johnson has a shot only if it's under 50 meters. Also, being a charity event, they should draw some other athletes (Rajon Rondo, Ted Ginn, Jr come to mind). ESPN could get 3 hours out of a 10 second event.

if the race is longer than 60 yards, CJ will lose by at least a whole second. id say he has a shot at a 40 yard dash

Next seasons challenge for C.J. is to hit 3,000 total yards. That's my goal for him. Then he can rename himself "Every Fans Dream".

Chris Johnson is funny, but he's not going to win this. Bolt has spent his life on track. He's a professional at running. CJ won't have the perfect form like Bolt. CJ will keep up with him, but Bolt would probably win.

I'd like to see Rondo, DeSean, Hester?, and maybe a MLB player. Carl Crawford, Carlos Gomez, or Jose Reyes.... what about Jamaal Charles

CJ was on the track team in high school and did quite well...I think he knows the "perfect form" or whatever, its not like hes stepping on a track for the first time.

He'll be significantly faster without pads as well.

I love this. Chris Johnson is cool. There's just a whole lot of fun to this cat.

I think Bolt has a lot to lose if he's beaten, but he's been racing his whole life so what does he really care. He should win. And this is a cash cow for everyone.

Track could really use an event with this kind of hype too. It's a real opportunity for everyone. I think it would be considered a big enough event you could prime time it with National Coverage. I really do. ESPN may not do it justice. I think this should be an NBC thing. People would tune in with a marketing strategy.

I cannot think of a better race. There's no high profile runners for him to compete with one on one. So this race has a little drama to it.

I think my ultimate night would be:
Chris Johnson vs. Usaine Bolt - Likely negotiable
Contador vs. Armstrong - Never would happen
Kobe vs. Lebron to 11 - possible if NBA/Stern lets them
Tiger vs. Mickelson - I think likely could be negotiated
Phelps vs. Biedermann - Probably could never take place
Gordon vs. Earnheardt - Probably not possible

    Field of Dreams:
    Ryan vs. Ruth
    Kobe vs. Jordan
    Magic vs. Bird
    Carl Lewis vs. Bolt
Stallone ( goalie ) vs. Beckham
    Ali vs Tyson
    Hogan vs. Andre the Giant
    Tiger vs. Nicklaus
