I really don't have a problem with fisherball. A win is a win, no matter if its by 1 point or 100. I have a problem with blind loyalty over playing the better player. This has always been Jeff Fishers problem. This isn't a new problem, he's been doing this for 11 years now (I didn't follow the oilers and he never had a winning record as the oilers.)

Note how every team throws Nick Harper's way. If I had a nickel everytime they said "Nick Harper" today (Because every single ball was going his way) I would be a rich, rich man.

You rarely hear about the opposing QB throwin Finny's way because Finny does his job. I'm starting to think that Nick Harper is not an NFL caliber corner. He can't cover anybody! Name one player that he has contained this season? If a QB can get Griffin to bite, most any decent WR can put a move on Harper and have a TD reception.

Getting back to Fisher. While Rod Hood isn't the best corner, hes probably not even a top 50 corner, but he is a legit NFL corner. How can Fisher not see this? Nick Harper is a bottom 5 cornerback in the league. Infact, he may be dead last. He's terrible. He may have a career with the Lions next year, but if hes not a Lion or a Raider, I cant think of any team that will want him next year. His career is over.

Jeff Fisher's stubbornness is the reason we are 7-7 and not 11-3. Putting on another teams jersey doesn't help. Curse or no curse. 7-1 since or not. Vince Young is the reason Jeff Fisher still has a job. He has saved his hide twice now.

Any of you bashing fishers conservative way of handling a lead going to acknowledge the stat that BigTitan put up. 14 in a row when having a fourth quarter lead . . . um something is working people. I would say that is playing to win. I have followed this team a long time and you go beyond 14 games an you see he wins the vast majority of games with a 4th quarter lead. Any one remeber how the coaches before him did with a fourth quarter lead . . . 92 wild card game anyone . . . ask Frank Reich . . . he can tell you all about it.

You can bash fisher for a lot of things and if its time to make a change its time. But you can't knock him for his 4th quarter strategy with a lead . . . it f. . . ing works people and in the end that is all that matters.

Yeah, and I bet most were nail biters when they didn't have to be. I for one prefer a stress free comfortable game.

And how many times has this happened? Not many.

Please, that game was the epitome of how he usually handles leads. lol

Almost six full season ago the Titans had a salary cap purge and basically started over. Since that time, the Titans are 47-47 and 0-2 in the playoffs.

During that same time, coaches like Sean Peyton and Ken Whisenhunt have completely turned around historically inept franchises like the Saints and Cardinals.

It's time for him to go. He's had 15 years worth of chances.

    Well said.

I'm not going to call for his head because we could do a hell of a lot worse, but I wouldn't be opposed to a new head coach soon.

I just hope we end up with a Wisenhunt, Payton story and not a Washington/Cleveland management carousel.

After the winning FG, i got so annoyed by Fish's usual celebration dance with fist pumps. He was the only guy on the Titans sideline doing that. Everyone else just looked at him disgusted.

Sorry, but there is no way that Jeff Fisher blows a 32 point lead. He never has and never will. Find the biggest lead he has ever blown and lost the game. If you can find him blowing an 18 point lead and LOSING . . . I would be surprised.

And who the hell cares if your @ss puckers when we win. The bottom line is that when we have the lead in the 4th quarter, we win almost every time. The coach does not owe you calm nerves. It is his job to win and the formula he has for winning when he has a lead works, period. No one can dispute that given his track record.

Another thing most people here don't seem to realize is that most coaches coach the way Fisher does with a lead. I know not all do but most do. The reason is that the odds say that you will be less likely to blow a lead and lose with that strategy . . . might teams make it close, sometimes, but they are less likely to win when you run clock and put the preassure on them than if you get aggressive, make mistakes and give them more chances.

You guys do realize that if Griffin makes that pick which he should have we are not even having this conversation.
