Writer admits VY Hate

Well after that read I am very happy. I have always supported Vince young since day 1. I remember in high school, in construction class there was this kid that sat next to me who was a die hard Titans fan as well and he told me how we had a major chance of drafting Young and I was very excited. The way he played before last season's drama was awesome but I did always fear for him throwing excessive interceptions, and I'd get nervous when I'd see him make throws at times. But I never gave up on him and still believed he was our future. The whole tragedy with McNair this past summer made me think of what It could do for our team. I thought that we could do amazing in his memory, but the season was shaky. I thought of McNair highly as a player, person and our QB and I've felt the same about Young. I knew that they were close and he is out there doing his thing, matured, and I know he's thinking and thanking McNair for everything and he's doing it for him. Now I feel comfortable seeing Vince under center and I wear his Jersey with pride every sunday. I wore it even last season but now I almost feel as if I have bragging rights for wearing it due to his turn around in the way he plays. Seeing that people, not just the Titans fans, but the media and other team's fans actually give him credit now is amazing.

Agreed. He also then goes on to say that "he never knew him personally..". So you hated a guy to the point it allowed you to enjoy his struggles..and you admit to not truly knowing him? Just sad.
